A week after conversation we have reached the city of Paralakhemundi, this city is still under Kaling rule, not conquered, nor surrendered by people. I didn't even know why this was the case but I understood why this was, a man fair of skin, fully clean shaven, as tall as me, wearing gold jewels and luxurious clothes had come to pick us. He talked with Emporer's commander with silver tounge and I was confused with all this situation.
I then moved towards one of his commander and asked him about this situation he then explained, "This man is just no other noble or lord this is Gajapati's bastard son Jagan Samarthy and he is secretly helping us for the throne".
"How can a man name his son though a bastard upon himself".
He laughed and said, "Of all the things you are suspicious of his naming hahaha".
I took this mockery lightly but I was suspicious of this bastard son of Gajapati, after all if a man can betray his own father who made him a governor of important city then he can easily betray a known men whom he first met in life.
When we reached the big castle of his like always only important commanders and emperor's commanders were permitted in it and all of war discussion happened in the dining. I felt it weird but I knew my words mean nothing to to him.
I was shocked with the variety of food though there was only meat of fish but food was really good. Mr. Jagan was constantly praising the emperor infront of his men and he did not even look at me or my men which felt insulting to me but I stayed quite and focused on food.
"So I think we should discuss about the coming siege of Kalinganagar. The city is not far but rather it's very close and no one has a small news of your arrival".
"Yes, but will siege be possible and it will be costly and time consuming".
"I have already think about it and preparation can be done in all the way".
"Good, but what about your brothers I heard they are a lot of them".

I asked angrily to him that I did not say anything wrong but he explained, "it should be non of our concern in their internal politics, we must only focus in our money that's what is our work and we are just fighting to that lustly Gajapati who had many wives and children and respect non of them.
He relaxed and then said, "This is not your fault Samarth Rashtrakut is fool to believe him".

He explained me to just coperate with ser jagan as day after tomorrow we were going to march towards Kalinganagar. One thing was for sure that today I have angered ser jagan and he is not gonna tolerate me more.
One day passed and we finnally marched towards the siege of Kalinganagar and unexpectedly ser jagan was friendly with me. He even offered me local alcohol which I refused due my religious reasons.
We almost reached at the siege distance of Kalinganagar and started making camps and preparing siege machines we thought that everybody in city will be shocked to see a army but we were not ready for what we saw. We saw that the whole imperial army of Kaling was already stationed outside the city walls. This was very overwhelming for us, I with my commanders was going towards ser jagan where emperor's commanders were already questioning him and we proceed towards our camp they were panicking.
I was shocked as they did not fight in night and let the enemy camp and fight with morals unlike our holy jihads.
Then a scout came in camp and informed us that Gajapati in coming for a camped conversation.
Ser jagan and Ser Bukka Hegde the chief commander of emperor were going where I insisted to come and we proceed.
As we reached the middle of the big we meet him. He was short, fat and unattractive. He was wearing a expensive armour. Then a man besides announced, "Kalingadhipati, Gajapati Jagannath Samarthy, son of Devandra Samarthy of Purbh ganga dynasty gives you his presence".
He spoke with rusty voice, "What did they offer you to betray your own father"?
"They did not, I offered them assistance in exchange of 'my' throne".
"You are the one who killed your brothers and now claim throne, I made you governor gave you love now if I need to give a daughter of mine to throne I would not hesitate".
"Give brothers my love in hell". We then set back.
I stayed quite in whole conversation but I was able to feel the gravity of situation in the battle of Tommorow.
