"Enough. You've lost. Time to exit the stage." Aoi's voice was flat.
The Big Five glared at her, faces twisted with malice.
"You damn woman! Even if we lost, we won't let you—!"
They lunged.
A transparent barrier snapped into existence in front of Aoi and threw them back as if they'd hit solid glass.
"Pathetic," Noah's voice rang down from the sky, full of contempt. "She's right—losers should disappear."
"N-Noah-sama, please—give us one more—"
Before the plea could finish, the five silhouettes dissolved into light and vanished.
In their place, a single door appeared, standing alone in the barren wilderness.
A cold, cheerful voice followed.
"Congratulations on defeating the Big Five. If you want to see Seto, walk through that door."
That was the last thing Noah said to her here.
The Big Five were on their knees now, trembling.
"Noah-sama… please, one more chance! Next time we'll defeat Aoi Kisaragi!"
"Defeat her?" Noah laughed, and the laugh sharpened into something cruel. "With what?"
Their throats tightened.
"Your 'Five-Headed Dragon' couldn't even lift its heads in front of her Cyber Dragons. And you think you can beat her?"
The air turned icy.
"Useless. And I don't keep failures."
One of them swallowed hard. "K-Keep? Then… where do we go?"
"To die," Noah said casually, like he was taking out the trash. "I don't need failures beside me."
He flicked his hand.
The Big Five began to break apart—pixel by pixel—screaming as their bodies disintegrated into data.
"Noah-sama, please! Please spare us—!"
Noah didn't even blink.
When the last fragment vanished, he smiled and patted Mokuba's head, as if nothing had happened.
"Seto… what a woman you have. It makes me jealous." He chuckled softly. "Truly."
Mokuba, eyes empty, answered like a doll.
"Yes… Noah-nii-sama."
Back on the wasteland, Aoi stared at the solitary door and let out a quiet breath.
"So this is the only way."
She stepped through.
A black corridor stretched infinitely ahead—featureless, silent, swallowing light.
"…A maze," Aoi muttered. "Pick the wrong path and you wander forever. He's trying to stall me."
She frowned, then closed her eyes.
Inside her, the White Dragon Spirit stirred—an instinctive pull, like a compass turning toward its master.
Aoi's expression sharpened.
"Got it. You can't map the maze… but you can sense Kaiba's position."
That was enough.
She began moving, fast—turn after turn, choosing with certainty that didn't come from logic, but from the dragon's silent guidance.
Seto Kaiba sat in a sleek train shaped like a white dragon—cold steel and bone-white armor plating, rails cutting through a world of molten rock.
"All right, Noah." Kaiba's eyes narrowed. "So you're Gozaburo Kaiba's biological son. Looks like there's still a debt between us."
The train slowed.
At the platform, Noah stood waiting.
Kaiba stepped down without hesitation.
"You're here, Seto."
"Where are Aoi and Mokuba?" Kaiba snapped. "What did you do to them?"
Noah spread his hands with theatrical calm.
"Relax. Whatever happens between us, it has nothing to do with Mokuba. I'll release him."
His smile tilted.
"As for Aoi Kisaragi… heh."
Kaiba's gaze sharpened to a blade.
"…What's funny."
"Nothing." Noah's tone turned almost admiring. "I'm just impressed. I really am. She defeated the Big Five alone—after doubling their Life Points, no less."
Kaiba didn't relax. If anything, he looked more dangerous.
"Stop talking in circles."
Noah gestured broadly at the landscape: rivers of lava, jagged black rock, a sky that looked forged rather than natural.
"Beautiful, isn't it? With KaibaCorp's technology, we can create anything—space, hellfire, worlds. With this, war changes. Humanity changes. History changes."
Kaiba's laugh was short and scornful.
"Pointless."
Noah's smile twitched. "What did you say?"
"It's pointless," Kaiba repeated. "Because you're already dead."
Noah's eyes narrowed.
"On the way here, I saw your funeral."
For a moment, Noah was silent—then he laughed again, low and amused.
"So you saw the record. Good. Then we can be honest."
He tapped his temple.
"The 'me' you see is a projection. But what's stored here is real."
The sky rippled.
A metallic sphere descended through the clouds—heavy, surgical, inhuman.
"That," Noah said, almost proudly, "is my brain. My consciousness is preserved in it."
Kaiba's pupils contracted.
"…That's your brain?"
"Yes. My body died, but the gears of fate only began to turn after that."
Noah's voice softened into memory.
"I was born as KaibaCorp's only son—its rightful heir. Father poured everything into me: academics, music, athletics… He wanted me to rule every field. An emperor."
His eyes darkened.
"I worked until my bones screamed. Everything would have gone as planned."
A pause.
"If not for that car accident."
Noah's gaze drifted into the molten distance.
"The human brain runs on weak electrical signals. After the accident, Father transferred my consciousness and memory into KaibaCorp's military AI system."
His smile returned—thin, sharp.
"And then you and Mokuba were adopted. Father raised you as my rival, Seto—so I could surpass myself by defeating you."
Kaiba's voice was ice.
"So this is what you call destiny."
Noah nodded like a lecturer.
"You were never meant to inherit KaibaCorp. And if you disagree… then we'll settle it with what you're best at."
His eyes glittered.
"A Duel."
"If you lose here, you'll have no argument left."
Noah's smile widened.
"And when you lose, I'll take your body. KaibaCorp will have a proper vessel again."
Kaiba's expression didn't change.
"In your dreams."
A cold wind swept the lava plain.
Then a slit of darkness opened beside Kaiba—like the world tearing.
Aoi stepped out.
"Noah," she said, eyes locked on him, "you're overestimating yourself."
Kaiba's gaze flicked to her—relief flashing across his face before he forced it down.
"Aoi… you're fine."
"I'm fine."
Aoi's attention never left Noah.
"But Kaiba's strength only matters if you stop using Mokuba as a hostage."
Her blue eyes tightened, bright and merciless.
Noah's smile held—but something in him faltered.
A faint tremor, quickly hidden.
Why does this woman know…? he thought.
Out loud, he remained calm.
"Interesting."
