"HAHAHA! Aoi Kisaragi—didn't expect us to summon Five-Headed Dragon in just two turns, did you?!" Ōtaki Shūzō crowed.
Aoi's lips curled slightly. "And? Planning to attack this turn?"
Ōtaki's smile faltered as Ōmon Kogorō's voice cut in, wary.
"Her set cards… could be traps to stop Five-Headed Dragon. Ōtaki, be careful."
"Yeah, yeah—I know. I'm going to—" Ōtaki started to play a Spell—
"Hold it." Aoi cut him off, calm as ice.
"I activate the Trap 'Attack Reflector Unit.' To activate it, I Tribute one 'Cyber Dragon' monster I control. Then I Special Summon 'Cyber Barrier Dragon' from my hand or Deck."
She pointed at her small machine on the field.
"I Tribute Cyber Dragon Nachster, and Special Summon Cyber Barrier Dragon from my Deck—in Attack Position!"
Metal trusses erupted around the sacrificed machine, hoisting parts into place like a factory assembly line. A thick device locked onto the new dragon's neck, its core humming.
Cyber Barrier Dragon (800/2800)
Ōtaki sneered. "An 800 ATK joke? It's not even worth polishing Five-Headed Dragon's claws. The real threat must be your other face-down."
He snapped a card into his Duel Disk.
"I activate Quick-Play Spell 'Mystical Space Typhoon.' I destroy your other set card!"
The cyclone ripped Aoi's set card apart—
—and Aoi smiled, like she'd been waiting for that exact motion.
"You destroyed my Trap 'Dust Tornado.' When a Set Dust Tornado is destroyed and sent to the Graveyard, I can destroy one face-up card on the field."
Her finger leveled at the enormous fusion monster.
"I destroy Five-Headed Dragon."
A sandstorm roared into existence, grinding against the five heads, eroding scales—
"Nice try," Ōtaki barked, slamming down a response. "We saw that coming!"
"Quick-Play Spell 'Forbidden Dress'! I target Five-Headed Dragon—its ATK drops by 600, but this turn it can't be targeted by other card effects!"
Five-Headed Dragon (4400/5000)
The sandstorm died instantly, as if it had slammed into an invisible wall.
Ōtaki's grin returned.
"Now it's over. Five-Headed Dragon, attack Cyber Barrier Dragon!"
All five heads fired at once—flames, lightning, frost, storm, and shadow converging into a crushing torrent.
Aoi only chuckled.
The device around Cyber Barrier Dragon's neck unfolded into a parasol-like circular shield, absorbing the impact with a ringing, metallic hum.
"What?!" Ōtaki's eyes widened. The other Big Five froze. Even Noah went silent.
Aoi spoke as if she were reading a rule text aloud.
"Cyber Barrier Dragon's effect. Once per turn, if it's in Attack Position, it can negate the attack of one opponent's monster."
Ōtaki clicked his tongue hard.
"Hmph. You survived by hiding behind an effect. But your trash monsters can't beat Five-Headed Dragon."
"End turn."(Hand: 2)
Aoi's gaze sharpened, voice dropping into something colder.
"You called Cyber Dragons trash?"
She smiled—no warmth in it.
"Then burn with them."
"My turn—DRAW."
"I activate Pot of Greed. I draw two cards."
Then, without hesitation:
"I activate Overload Fusion. I banish Fusion Materials from my field and/or Graveyard to Fusion Summon a DARK Machine Fusion Monster."
She swept her hand across her field and graveyard like a guillotine.
"I banish: three Cyber Dragons, Cyber Dragon Nachster, Cyber Barrier Dragon, and the Nachster in my Graveyard—six materials total."
Ōmon Kogorō's throat tightened. "Six… Fusion Materials?!"
Aoi's Duel Disk flared. A massive metallic block formed in front of her, six sealed ports glowing along its surface.
"Fusion Summon—Chimeratech Overdragon!"
The ports opened one by one.
Six mechanical dragon heads pushed outward from the metal mass, each one synchronized like a weapon system coming online.
The Big Five stared.
"Its ATK isn't fixed…?"
Aoi answered calmly.
"Chimeratech Overdragon's ATK and DEF are determined by its Fusion Materials. It gains 800 ATK/DEF for each."
"Six materials."
She let the number land.
"4800 ATK / 4800 DEF."
Chimeratech Overdragon (4800/4800)
Ōtaki laughed, forcing confidence.
"Too bad. Five-Headed Dragon's ATK is back to 5000 this turn."
Five-Headed Dragon (5000/5000)
Aoi didn't blink.
"I activate Quick-Play Spell 'Limiter Removal.' All Machine monsters I control have their ATK doubled until the end of the turn. During the End Phase, monsters affected by this effect are destroyed."
Chimeratech's engines screamed.
Chimeratech Overdragon (9600/4800)
The Big Five's eyes lit up—misreading the line like amateurs.
Ōtaki burst out laughing. "HAHA! Five-Headed Dragon can't be destroyed by battle except by LIGHT monsters! You proposed doubling our LP to 8000—good! That means we survive. Then your Overdragon dies to Limiter Removal and you're finished!"
Aoi's smile widened—sharp, predatory.
"I'm glad Five-Headed Dragon has that effect."
"What?!" all five shouted at once.
Aoi raised a finger.
"Chimeratech Overdragon's second effect: It can attack monsters multiple times each Battle Phase—up to the number of Fusion Materials used."
She tapped the air once.
"Six materials."
"Six attacks."
Noah, watching through the system feed, whispered—genuinely impressed:
"So that's it… Because Five-Headed Dragon won't be destroyed, Overdragon can keep attacking it—six times—turning its 'protection' into a damage engine."
Aoi's eyes glinted.
"Now take the damage from the 'trash' you mocked."
"Battle!"
"Chimeratech Overdragon attacks Five-Headed Dragon—Evolution Energy Burst: Sixfold Battery Barrage!"
All six heads fired in unison—white beams hammering the five-headed titan again and again, each impact landing like a piledriver into the Big Five's shared Life Points.
"No—NO—!" Ōtaki screamed, the bravado evaporating into panic.

Aoi didn't celebrate. She simply lowered her hand.
"Aoi Kisaragi wins."
