Chapter 29 - Chapter 29: Sarada

[Ding! The quest to eat at Temari's house has been completed. You have gained 100 passion points.]

[Ding! The quest to help Yoshino has been completed. You have gained 500 passion points.]

[Ding! The quest to touch Temari has been completed. You have gained 500 passion points.]

As soon as Kaien left Temari's house, three quest completion notifications rang out in succession.

With these three quests completed, Kaien's passion points had reached 2100, enough for two more draws.

[Ding! Make-Out Paradise quest: Go to Sakura's house for dinner. Time remaining: one hour. Reward upon completion: 100 passion points.]

Just as Kaien was about to draw, the Make-Out Paradise system issued another quest.

"Go to Sister Sakura's house for dinner?" Kaien froze for a moment, then looked up at the sky. The sun was already slowly setting.

Holy cow… I actually stayed with Sister Temari for that long?

Only then did Kaien realize how late it had gotten.

After hesitating briefly, Kaien headed toward Sakura's house.

At the same time, inside Temari's bedroom.

Temari lay on the bed, staring blankly at the ceiling. Everything that had happened today felt unreal—almost absurd.

Yet she didn't reject the intimacy she had shared with Kaien.

"Oh no! It's so late!" Temari suddenly noticed the sunlight outside fading and quickly sat up, putting on her clothes.

She still needed to make dinner.

Passing by the bathroom, she hesitated, but ultimately chose not to shower. She liked the scent Kaien had left on her—it made her feel like she truly had a man.

"Knock, knock, knock!"

After buying some fruit along the way, Kaien arrived at Sakura's house and knocked on the door.

"Who is it? Coming!" Sakura's voice sounded from inside.

"Click!"

"Kaien? Why are you here?" Sakura looked surprised when she opened the door.

Kaien glanced inside. Seeing no one else around, he pulled Sakura into his arms, breathed softly into her ear, and whispered, "I missed you, Sister Sakura."

Sakura trembled, her body instantly going weak as she leaned against him.

"You—let go quickly!" Sakura pushed him shyly, her face faintly red. "My mother-in-law and Sarada are home!"

"Don't be scared. We'll just be sneaky," Kaien said with a grin.

Sakura shook her head. "Stop messing around. Let go. It'll be so awkward if Mother and Sarada see us."

"Sakura, who's here?" A voice came from inside.

Startled, Sakura immediately pushed Kaien away and smoothed her clothes.

"It's Kaien. He came to see you," Sakura replied, then quickly changed the topic. "Mother, I'll go make dinner. You chat with Kaien."

With that, Sakura hurried back into the kitchen.

Mikoto walked out from the living room in comfortable homewear, looking gentle and virtuous.

Her loose T-shirt outlined her full chest, and her long, straight legs were smooth and toned.

Her fair, delicate skin and flowing black hair framed her exquisite features.

Her clear, bright eyes sparkled like gems, and her mature, composed aura made her irresistibly charming.

"Oh, Kaien is here. Come in and sit down," Mikoto said warmly.

"Why did you bring so much fruit?" Mikoto glanced at the bags in his hands, scolding him lightly.

"Aunt Mikoto, I haven't seen you in a long time," Kaien said with a simple smile, scratching his head.

"I brought a few things—and I'm here to freeload a meal. You don't mind, right?"

"Silly child, I'm happy you came. How could I mind?" Mikoto took the bags from him and placed them aside, then pulled him toward the sofa.

Her hand was cool and smooth, sending a faint electric sensation through Kaien.

As he entered the living room, Kaien noticed a small loli sitting on the sofa watching TV.

The moment she saw him, she jumped down and ran over, asking in a childish voice.

"Are you my daddy?"

Her words stunned Kaien and Mikoto—and also Sakura, who had just come out of the kitchen. Sakura's eyes instantly reddened.

Sarada's innocent question revealed her longing for a father, making Sakura's nose sting as tears nearly fell.

Sarada had never seen Sasuke since birth. She didn't even know what he looked like.

It was natural for her to mistake a man appearing in the house for her father.

"Sarada, I'm Brother Kaien," Kaien said gently, squatting down and patting her head. "What, you don't recognize me?"

By seniority, she shouldn't call him brother—but Kaien didn't want to be called old, so everyone just went with what felt natural.

Sarada pouted, looking wronged.

"Looks like Sarada really forgot me. She used to cling to me for hugs every day," Kaien said with a laugh as he picked her up and rubbed her little head.

Mikoto often brought Sarada around, and Kaien had played with her many times in the past.

"But you're not my daddy," Sarada muttered.

Her words made both Mikoto and Sakura feel a pang in their hearts. The well-behaved, sensible child was actually very insecure inside.

Kaien smiled, gently pinching Sarada's chubby cheeks. "But Brother Kaien can play with you."

"Play what?" Sarada blinked her big eyes.

"What do you want to play?" Kaien asked.

Sarada tilted her head, thinking hard. After a while, her eyes lit up.

"I want to ride a horse!"

"Sarada!" Mikoto immediately exclaimed sternly.

"It's fine," Kaien waved his hand casually, smiling.

"Yay!" Sarada cheered happily.

Kaien stood up, stretched, and motioned for Sarada to climb onto his back.

"Horsey! Horsey!" Sarada laughed joyfully, riding on Kaien's back as her chubby little legs swung back and forth, her face full of delight.
