His eyes were as petrifying as death itself, and yet I didn't care to hold it like it meant the world to me.
If I hadn't been in so much pain of late, I would consider the view before me a hallucination or a vision of ill luck that was going to befall me, but no, he was actually standing here I wasn't imagining things.

The sight of him knocked air right out of my lungs. My heart palpitation increased dramatically, and right under the luminal balls hanging in the sky, his bright red eyes were like the sun even in darkness, moving with grace as they held mine. Nothing would have prepared me for this moment.
To stand before the Lord Draziel in all his glory. It was like an encounter only seen once in a lifetime, and my luck might have run out because this was our third encounter. And the heavens favor me; it shall be last.
