The Lost Vampire System Chapter 59 - Charlotte's Enemy
Charlotte lifted her head up to look at who shot her. Her face contorted in anger when she realized that it was a girl who shot her.
"You dare!" she yelled just as Arden pulled the trigger again.
An energy bullet came out of the tip, and Arden took a step back from the force of the shot. The crowd that had gathered a while ago backed up as this fight was starting to get out of hand. Just as the bullet was about to hit Charlotte, a light green portal opened, and a portal next to Arden's head opened. Arden turned her head and tried to duck as the energy bullet struck her head, sending her spiraling into the wall. Blood trickled out of her nose, but little robots were moving across her body to repair the damage.
Charlotte chuckled as she walked into a portal and came out of another, standing over Arden. Arden immediately thrust her right arm forward, and an electrical prod came out of her sleeve, electrocuting the bully leader.
"Agh!" Charlotte yelled as she leapt back, and Arden's electric prod extended, but a portal opened, and the next thing Arden knew was that she was shocking her own back.
"Agh!" Arden screamed as a portal opened in front of her face as Charlotte's foot was implanted into Arden's face, breaking her nose just after her bots fixed it.
"I'll teach you first years how I taught last year's first years that I am up top," Charlotte growled as a portal opened underneath Arden, and she fell through as a portal opened right above her. The two portals stayed open, and Arden fell through the bottom portal and kept reemerging from the top portal, creating an endless circle.
"After a moment, you're going to throw up!" Charlotte cheered when she felt someone touch her neck.
She turned around to find that the pretty boy kid, who was Damion, had a stern grip on her shoulder, with his eyes glowing yellow and his face contorted in anger. Without hesitation, he threw out a fist with the intention of beating Charlotte to a pulp. Her eyes widened as a portal opened directly in front of her face, and another portal appeared next to Damion's face as his hand came through. She smiled, but it quickly vanished as a portal appeared just in front of his face, and the next thing she knew was that a fist came out of another portal underneath her chin, giving her an uppercut.
Damion was not holding back one bit, so a snap was heard of Charlotte's jaw breaking as she went flailing toward the ceiling of the hallway next to the entrance of the dining hall, slamming into the ceiling.
She made a gurgling sound as her body fell from the ceiling. Damion's arm glowed pink with Emma's love power now combined with the evo cells of Charlotte's portal creation. He thrust it forward with the intention of ending her existence, not caring about the consequences, when Charlotte weakly opened up two portals. Damion's love power attack went through, and the attack came out of another portal, smashing into his gut. Damion, being a Nephilim, took the attack as he was sent through the dining hall, smashing into tables, chairs, food, and people before coming to a stop as Charlotte was slowly getting up and feeling her jaw.
Jareth ran over to Damion and asked, "are you ok?"
Damion ignored Jareth as his eyes burned yellow more intensely.
"Warning," Jareth's system said. "The Nephilim is gathering his strength."
Jareth stepped back as Damion's body started to glow when a loud voice boomed from the side.
"Cease hostility!" the voice yelled.
Jareth turned his head to see that Robert had entered the dining hall along with two guards who were wearing grey camo-like cloaks over their heads. Robert looked around and noticed that there seemed to be two groups, and one of them was the one with the Nightshade and the Youngblood, who seemed to be really angry.
Sh*t, Robert thought. The Youngblood has already gotten into a fight.
He turned his head to look at the other person.
Charlotte, the major sighed, as she was a thorn in his *ss last year, as she had slowly formed a bully group over the course of her first year. There were a lot of instances where he would have to step in to prevent Charlotte from beating a person to the point where they would have serious head injuries. Now he had to step in because he heard the commotion nearby, and now two of the most troublesome students he had to keep an eye on were fighting. What surprised him was how, based on the energy swirling in the air and Charlotte's face, Damion must've had the upper hand at some point.
"Charlotte," Robert said. "What are you doing in the first-year building?"
"It…It's nat…not not," she tried to speak but clutched her jaw as the pain was intense.
She held her right hand over her jaw, and a soft light glowed, which healed her jaw. She smiled at Robert like everything was a-okay.
"It's not illegal for second years to be here, is it?" she asked with a smile.
Robert narrowed his eyes as, even after she left, Charlotte was still being a thorn in his *ss. He clenched his hand.
"No," Robert spat, "but now you must leave for the next hour while the place gets fixed up. Everyone who sleeps here can stay."
"You're going above your authority," Charlotte said.
"Guards," Robert said, and the two-camo grey cloaked guards stepped forward, sending out a ripple of energy.
The two of them pulled out what looked like a double-bladed sword handle with no blades at the end. Then they moved their hands, turning on the Becifer weapon, and an electrical energy protruded out on both sides, sending sparks flying.
"Cease hostility!" the two guards shouted.
Charlotte took a few steps back before she walked out of the dining hall. The two guards placed their Becifer weapons away as Robert stepped in front of them.
"Well," Robert said. "When I told you, Jareth, to watch your back, I didn't expect that you would have to deal with her."
