Aunt May, who had taken a day off yesterday, was stunned when she saw so many people suddenly gathered in the restaurant—especially the famous billionaire Tony Stark.
She almost jumped in shock.
For a moment, she thought her restaurant had suddenly become wildly popular, secretly delighting in the idea.
However, after Chen Ye explained that these people were his companions rather than customers, Aunt May finally calmed down.

Carol's expression tightened as she quickly adjusted her flight path and stopped opposite the two men, forming a tense standoff in midair.
She carefully examined them, trying to gather information from their appearances and auras.
The first thing she noticed was a man in a white suit.
His face carried a weary kind of beauty, as though he had endured countless storms yet remained unbreakable.
Beside him stood a wolf, silent and calm, its deep eyes radiating loneliness.
Though the man looked relaxed and indifferent, Carol could sense the terrifying power flowing within him—like a sleeping beast ready to awaken at any moment.
The second man was an Asian guy dressed casually.
He wore slippers and held a bun in his hand, looking as though he had just stepped out of a roadside diner.
At the same time, Chen Ye was also observing Carol.
Blonde hair. Outfit vaguely similar to Superman's.
This had to be Nick Fury's trump card—Captain Marvel.
"So Fury's really getting desperate if he's calling Captain Marvel back already," Chen Ye thought.
Carol understood she had already entered Hell's Kitchen's sphere of influence.
And among the two men before her, one of them was likely her target—the legendary Lord of Hell.
Nick Fury had told her the mission location and target name, but before he could show her a photo of the Lord of Hell, Carol had impatiently rushed out on her own.
Looking at the two men, Carol instinctively felt the one in the white suit fit the title better.
Thinking this, she looked toward the man in white and said:
"You're the Lord of Hell, right? I was sent by Nick Fury to find you."
The man in the white suit—John Wick—turned toward Chen Ye beside him.
"Boss, she's here for you. If there's nothing else, I'll head back down."
John had sensed the powerful aura approaching the restaurant. Even though he had grown rather lazy lately, he still remembered his responsibilities as security.
If the newcomer was an enemy, intercepting them in the air would minimize damage.
Now that he knew she was looking for Chen Ye, there was no reason for him to stay.
After hearing Carol's words, Chen Ye simply smiled and continued eating his bun.
Looking at Carol, a trace of amusement flashed in his eyes.
"Don't leave just yet," he teased. "She said she's here for the Lord of Hell, not for me, Chen Ye. Why don't you two have a nice chat?"
Only then did Carol realize she had mistaken the wrong person.
She admitted to herself that she had misjudged the situation. She hadn't expected the casually dressed Asian man to actually be the Lord of Hell.
But to her, it made no difference who the Lord of Hell was.
She was confident that even both men together wouldn't be her opponent.
"You're the Lord of Hell, then," Carol said coldly. "Nick Fury asked me to tell you this: if you join the Avengers, everything you've done before will be wiped clean."
Carol genuinely couldn't understand why Nick Fury kept trying to recruit people like this.
In her eyes, all unstable elements were evil and needed to be eliminated.
Chen Ye, however, clearly didn't care.
Smiling faintly, he replied:
"That's it? If there's nothing else, you can leave now. Tell Black Braised Egg that as long as nobody provokes me, I'm actually a very kind person."
Then he turned as though preparing to leave.
Carol was instantly enraged by his attitude.
She felt she had already been merciful enough, yet this so-called Lord of Hell showed her absolutely no respect.
Coldly, she said:
"Are you sure? This is your final warning! If you refuse to join the Avengers, then don't blame us for what happens next!"
Just as Carol was preparing to act, Nick Fury's voice suddenly echoed out:
"Chen Ye, are you really willing to let everyone in Hell's Kitchen die because of your decision?"
It turned out Fury had installed monitoring and communication devices on Carol.
Hearing Nick Fury's voice, Chen Ye showed no surprise at all, as if he had expected this from the beginning.
Calmly, he said:
"You're still as cowardly as ever, Nick Fury. You know that threatening me might get you killed."
He paused before continuing mockingly:
"Why should a single conversation between you and me decide the fate of all Hell's Kitchen? Isn't that ironic? Is this your so-called justice?"
"If I agree this time, then what about next time? Sacrifice someone else?"
"Whatever tricks you have, bring them out. I'll deal with them."
His tone was unwavering and resolute, as though he was already prepared to face anything.
"And as for you, Captain Marvel…"
Chen Ye's expression turned icy.
"Go back to wherever you came from."
His voice carried unquestionable authority and threat.
As soon as he finished speaking, he waved his hand.
A massive surge of Chaos Magic erupted from his body.
Then, with a quick motion of his right hand, he drew a circle in the air.
A golden portal instantly appeared behind Carol.
Before she could react, the portal swallowed her and threw her back into outer space.
As for whether she would manage to return in time for the coming battle—
Chen Ye honestly didn't know.
