"Anti–Lord of Hell Armor!?" Pietro exclaimed in shock. He had never imagined that Tony — the playboy who usually seemed just as unserious as himself — actually had such a terrifying trump card hidden away.
So he was the only one slacking off while the so-called playboy had secretly been working hard behind the scenes.
Deadpool frowned as well, his tone filled with dissatisfaction.
"Hey, playboy! Did you make an anti-Deadpool suit for me too!?"
He glared at Tony indignantly. Why did Tony only make armor specifically for dealing with Chen Ye? Was he looking down on the great Deadpool? He was insanely powerful too!
Wanda, meanwhile, looked at Chen Ye with concern in her eyes.
"That Tony secretly developed armor specifically to deal with you. Do you need me to kill him?"
In her heart, Chen Ye's safety came above all else. Anyone who posed a threat to him — no matter who they were — had to be eliminated.
As long as Chen Ye gave the word, Wanda would act without hesitation.
However, Chen Ye merely waved his hand casually.
"It's fine. That's just Tony's personality. He's not targeting anyone specifically. Doing this just gives him a sense of security."
He didn't believe this so-called Anti–Lord of Hell Armor could truly threaten him anyway. After all, he possessed countless abilities himself.
Instead, he was genuinely curious about just how powerful Tony's armor really was.
Just from looking at it, Chen Ye could already tell that this suit was far stronger than any of Tony's previous armors.
Meanwhile, Tony himself was in an extremely sour mood.
Ever since deciding to develop armor specifically designed to counter Chen Ye, he had poured endless effort into the project, working day and night without rest.
After investing immense time and energy, he had finally completed the first-generation Anti–Lord of Hell Armor.
But what he never expected was that its first opponent wouldn't be Chen Ye…
—it would be Spider-Man, Chen Ye's disciple.
Tony confidently said to Peter:
"Sorry about earlier. I went to switch into a different suit. As an apology, I'll stand still and let you have one free hit."
Peter looked at Tony suspiciously. He hadn't expected Tony to become this confident just from changing armor.
After hesitating briefly, he instinctively glanced toward his master, Chen Ye.
Chen Ye nodded slightly, indicating that he too wanted to see how strong Tony's Anti–Lord of Hell Armor really was.
Seeing his master nod, Peter stopped hesitating and focused himself completely, preparing to attack with full force.
He understood this was a rare opportunity.
However, what Peter didn't expect was that no matter how hard he attacked, Tony remained as motionless as a statue.
Peter's punches slammed into the armor with dull thuds, yet Tony didn't budge even slightly.
"Is that all you've got, little spider?" Tony mocked.
Peter grew angry at the taunt and unconsciously increased his strength.
But no matter how hard he tried, Tony stood firm like a mountain.
Peter gradually felt despair creeping in. He noticed the armor beginning to radiate intense heat, forcing him to instinctively withdraw his fists.
He understood that if he continued, his hands might actually get burned.
Seeing this, Tony smugly declared:
"My armor can automatically superheat itself."
Then he continued:
"And that's not all. The Anti–Lord of Hell Armor is several times stronger than ordinary suits. I also specifically designed it to counter Chen Ye's high-speed movement by equipping monitoring systems that can slow perception by hundreds of times. As long as someone gets close to me, the armor automatically counterattacks."
Hearing this, Peter's heart sank even further.
Tony had clearly made thorough preparations. Defeating him wouldn't be easy.
Still, Peter refused to back down. He took a deep breath and prepared himself for the next phase of battle.
"Well then," Tony said coldly, "it's time for you to witness the true power of the armor I built specifically for your master."
The moment he finished speaking, Tony launched a fierce assault against Peter.
The Anti–Lord of Hell Armor moved like a ferocious beast. Every strike landed with deadly precision.
Peter could barely defend himself and had no chance to counterattack.
Every attempt he made was effortlessly neutralized by Tony, as though his attacks were meaningless struggles.
Before long, Peter was beaten to the ground, completely unable to continue fighting.
Lying there and gasping for breath, his eyes were filled with unwillingness and frustration.
He had believed he'd become strong enough to battle Tony.
Reality, however, cruelly showed him that the gap between them was still enormous.
Soon afterward, the referee Jessica Jones officially declared Tony the winner.
Yet Tony didn't feel happy about the victory at all. Instead, he looked even more depressed.
The trump card he had painstakingly prepared for Chen Ye had now been exposed so quickly.
Looks like he'd have to go home and start researching Anti–Lord of Hell Armor 2.0.
The first-generation model was already obsolete.
A trump card only remained a trump card as long as nobody had seen it before.
Peter slowly stood up and walked back gloomily.
He had originally thought he was close to victory.
Who would've guessed he'd end up being crushed by armor Tony built specifically to fight his master?
Did that mean he'd basically taken the hit in Chen Ye's place?
Chen Ye walked over and comforted him.
"It's fine. You've already improved a lot compared to last time. Losing to Tony's trump card isn't unfair. Even I would need some time to deal with that armor."
Hearing his master's encouragement, Peter's mood improved considerably.
At the same time, though, he became even more shocked by the gap between himself and Chen Ye.
The Anti–Lord of Hell Armor had completely overwhelmed him, yet in Chen Ye's eyes, it would merely take "a bit of time" to handle.
His master's strength truly was unfathomable.
After comforting Peter, Chen Ye walked straight over to Tony, who was now surrounded by spectators.
Everyone carefully examined Tony's new Anti–Lord of Hell Armor, marveling at both its power and sophistication.
Tony, however, only felt increasingly frustrated under everyone's gaze.
He knew his hidden card had already been revealed — a massive disadvantage.
"Not bad," Chen Ye teased. "Sneakily preparing such a nice surprise."
Tony glared at him irritably.
"It was supposed to be used against you. This is a huge loss for me. Now hurry up and hand over the Space Stone!"
Tony had already decided that once he got the Space Stone, he would immediately return to research the second-generation Anti–Lord of Hell Armor.
He wouldn't come back out until it was complete.
Chen Ye laughed at Tony's serious expression.
Then he took out the Space Stone and handed it over to the annoyed genius billionaire.
The moment Tony received it, he instantly disappeared.
Watching the place where Tony vanished, Chen Ye shook his head helplessly.
He knew Tony was definitely rushing home to continue researching armor.
Then he sighed and muttered to himself:
"So what if his trump card got exposed? It's not like I'm the only one with hidden cards."
