Tony finally stopped holding back and unleashed his full firepower against Spider-Man Peter.
Seeing this, Chen Ye thought to himself that Tony had been far too overconfident earlier. Iron Man in his true form was one equipped with heavy firepower, yet he had insisted on fighting Peter in close combat.
Although Peter looked thin and frail, an incredible power was hidden within his body. Otherwise, in other universes, he would never have been able to defeat Kingpin.
Peter possessed extraordinary spider-sense, allowing him to predict danger ahead of time, but under Tony's relentless assault, even he couldn't dodge everything completely.
Missiles and laser blasts poured down like a storm. Smoke and dust filled the battlefield, turning everything chaotic.
Peter tried his best to evade, but his body was still struck repeatedly by lasers and explosions.
He collapsed painfully onto the ground, his figure flickering in and out through the thick smoke.
Tony's advanced targeting systems clearly tracked the little Spider through the haze. Believing victory was already secured, he flew back toward Chen Ye.
"Your apprentice is pretty impressive," Tony said smugly as he lifted his helmet. "But compared to me, he's still a little lacking."
Tony extended his hand toward Chen Ye, eager to obtain the Space Stone he had been obsessing over so he could study it properly back home.
But Chen Ye didn't hand it over. Instead, he smiled faintly and said,
"The match isn't over yet."
Hearing this, Tony instinctively turned around.
As the smoke dispersed, Peter's figure slowly emerged once more.
Peter had not given up.
Struggling to his feet, his Spider-Man suit was already tattered beyond recognition, and his face was blackened by gunpowder burns. Yet the determination in his eyes had only grown stronger.
Tony stared at him in shock, unable to believe this seemingly fragile teenager had endured such overwhelming attacks.
Quickly putting his helmet back on, Tony flew into the air and shouted:
"I didn't expect you to still be standing after taking all that!"
Peter looked firmly at Tony, a slight smile appearing on his lips.
"I'm not that weak. Compared to my master, your attacks are nothing."
Instead of angering Tony, Peter's words made him admire the young Spider-Man even more. At the same time, he was astonished by Chen Ye's teaching ability.
"Maybe I should ask Chen Ye to train my combat skills too…" Tony thought subconsciously.
Tony launched another wave of attacks, each more intense than before, trying desperately to find Peter's weakness.
Hearing Peter's words, everyone turned toward Chen Ye in surprise. None of them had expected Chen Ye to train his disciple with such brutal intensity.
Richard, Kingpin's son, looked at Peter's battered Spider-Man suit and immediately abandoned the idea of asking Chen Ye to train him.
After all, he didn't think his body was nearly as tough as Peter's.
Harry, meanwhile, excitedly turned toward his own master and asked:
"Master, could you ask Mr. Chen Ye to train me too someday?"
Seeing Peter exchange blows evenly with Tony filled Harry with envy. He and Peter trained together every day, but the biggest difference was that Peter had personally received Chen Ye's guidance.
Deadpool didn't answer.
Instead, he crouched in a corner, drawing circles on the floor with his finger while muttering repeatedly:
"I'm not as good as Chen Ye… I'm not as good as Chen Ye…"
Harry hurried over to comfort his master.
Watching the increasingly intense battle between Iron Man and Peter, Wanda stood nearby, concern visible in her eyes.
Walking to Chen Ye's side, she softly asked:
"At this rate, it feels like your apprentice is going to win."
Chen Ye slightly shook his head, his deep gaze fixed on the battlefield.
"Still too early," he answered calmly.
Wanda looked surprised. Judging by her own observation, although Peter currently seemed to be at a disadvantage and was accumulating more injuries, his condition was actually improving as the fight continued.
Tony required increasingly heavier firepower just to land hits. If things continued like this, Tony would eventually lose due to running out of ammunition.
"Tony isn't as weak as you all think. Peter is still too inexperienced," Chen Ye explained.
Chen Ye said this because he understood Tony well.
Tony Stark was one of the smartest people in the Marvel Universe—the only ordinary human capable of standing shoulder to shoulder with gods.
Although Chen Ye himself didn't know exactly what Tony planned to do next, he knew the current Peter absolutely wasn't enough to defeat him.
"Your pride won't allow you to lose to my apprentice," Chen Ye thought silently.
Sure enough, Tony himself was beginning to feel pressure.
Watching the armor's energy reserves steadily drop, he started hesitating internally.
He knew that if things kept going this way, he might actually lose.
Inside his helmet, Tony asked:
"JARVIS, have you analyzed the little Spider's weakness yet?"
Peter's combat ability had exceeded Tony's expectations.
It wasn't that Tony lacked a way to defeat him. On the contrary, he could easily crush Peter if he used his hidden trump card.
But that trump card had originally been prepared specifically for Chen Ye.
He truly didn't want to waste it on Peter.
Still stubbornly attacking, Tony found Peter's speed and reflexes impossible to predict. Every strike was skillfully avoided.
Tony couldn't help but admire Peter's talent and potential.
"Looks like I'll have to use the trump card after all," Tony muttered inwardly, determination flashing through his eyes.
The next instant, he vanished from the battle room like a phantom.
Peter's attack missed completely.
He froze in confusion, then instinctively looked toward Chen Ye as if asking where Tony had gone.
Everyone else in the room also exchanged puzzled glances before turning toward Chen Ye, waiting for an explanation.
Chen Ye frowned slightly.
He knew Tony possessed the "Home System," allowing him to teleport instantly to any location. Clearly, Tony had teleported back home.
Chen Ye silently praised him.
As expected of a genius like Tony Stark—he had already mastered the Home System so quickly.
Chen Ye remembered that Tony had originally flown there manually. If he used teleportation now, it likely meant he had secretly returned home during the time Chen Ye was speaking with the Ancient One.
"Did Tony go back for another armor?" Chen Ye guessed inwardly.
Sure enough—
Five seconds later, Tony reappeared in the room.
But now, he was wearing a completely new Iron Man suit.
Everyone's eyes widened in amazement.
The armor's design was astonishingly refined, its sleek lines and craftsmanship displaying Tony's genius to the fullest.
Seeing everyone's stunned expressions, Tony felt a trace of satisfaction.
He knew this was undoubtedly the greatest armor he had ever created.
Smiling proudly, he explained:
"This is my newest armor design. I originally built it specifically to deal with Chen Ye… so I named it the 'Anti-Hell Lord Armor!'"
Hearing Tony's words, everyone immediately looked toward Chen Ye.
Even Chen Ye himself looked slightly dumbfounded.
He hadn't expected Tony to target him this specifically.
Internally, Chen Ye could only sigh bitterly:
"I treat you like a brother, and you're over here plotting against me. Are you Iron Man or Batman?"
