"I think your sister is my fated mate," Ralph confessed in a hushed whisper. "I can't confirm it since she isn't awake and her wolf is weakened right now, but I feel so drawn to her― I've never felt like this for anyone else. Every time I was supposed to look for you, I ended up looking for her instead. We haven't exchanged a single word, or even a single glance, yet I can't stop thinking about her. I just wanted to see her again."
I slightly lowered my brush, frowning. "You certainly haven't held yourself back in that aspect."
Ralph pouted, rolling his eyes. "I haven't managed to visit her since your brother began guarding her," he said. "What's more, the rogue attack happened, and I had no choice but to look for you, or else Lucien would have my neck―"
"Glad you know!" I hissed. "Get the hell out of here! You're not supposed to be in here in the first place!"
"You opened the window!" Ralph said, taking a step closer to me.
