"Language," Soren said, frowning. "He is just trying his best to help you."
"Doesn't feel like it," Magnus grumbled before wincing again. "Ouch! Be gentle!"
"I am doing the best that I can," the healer said placidly, but I could see his eyebrow twitching in irritation. He and I could form a club.
"It's alright, you can leave the antiseptic here for the time being," Soren said. "His wounds will hurt less when his body heals."
The healer nodded agreeably and left us alone. Magnus let out a sigh of relief and leaned further against the pillows on the bed to relax.
"What exactly happened out there?" Cassian asked, glancing back and forth between Magnus, Samuel, and his two brothers. "Why are they like this? As far as I know, the rogues didn't bring silver weapons to this ambush. They were fighting us with their bare hands!"
