[IRIS POV]
Alpha Gareth was still fighting, one man against a dozen wolves. Bodies littered the forest floor, and my future husband was still having the time of his life, breaking bones and spilling blood, despite the many new wounds on his body.
The enemy wolves were swarming him in an attempt to take him down, like bees to honey, but thankfully, their numbers seemed to be dwindling. Either Alpha Gareth had killed off most of them, or our opponents were finally wisening up to the futility of their mission.
