For this shoot, Chu Yao was undisputedly the main star. In the previously aired episodes, her popularity and reviews had already surpassed Gu Yuxin's. With her current fame, there was no question she deserved to be front and center.
The temperature in the Northwest Ancient Town was much lower than in the Imperial City. Combined with the dry air, Chu Yao felt like a week of filming had left her skin looking several shades duller.
Lu Xize had stayed with her for the week, and once Chu Yao finished filming, the two returned to the Imperial City together.
It was the final episode's shoot, but for Chu Yao, it was also the most exhausting one.
After returning to the Imperial City, she spent two days lying around at home just to get her energy back.
