Chu Yao clearly wasn't awake yet. Her eyes fluttered open for just a moment before closing again. Her arms instinctively wrapped around Lu Xize as she snuggled her head into his chest, murmuring, "Don't be scared. Yaoyao's here."
Her voice, soft and drowsy, made Lu Xize's heart melt into a puddle.
'Yaoyao's here...'
'It's... like she's coaxing a child.'
'But he liked it.'
Lu Xize's mood improved considerably. A faint smile touched his lips as he lay back down, adjusted his position, and pulled Chu Yao back into his arms before falling into a deep sleep.

Her luggage was already packed from the night before. After washing up and going downstairs, she saw Lu Xize dressed in a sharp suit with a long, black trench coat. A small black suitcase stood beside him, making it look like he was heading out too.
