Faye Vaughn and Finn Hawthorne walked out of the hot pot restaurant.
The restaurant was on the fourth floor of the mall, and it was bustling at this hour.
Faye Vaughn pulled her hand back and stuffed it into her pocket. "No holding hands. We'll talk in three days."
Finn Hawthorne glanced at her, an impatient itch tickling his heart, as if a kitten were scratching at it.
'Three more days!'
'I really don't want to wait!'
"There's a claw machine over there. I want to go play," Faye Vaughn said, stuffing the LinaBell doll into Finn Hawthorne's arms. "Here, you can hold it for a bit."
"This isn't what I want to hold..." Finn Hawthorne muttered under his breath.
Faye Vaughn pretended not to hear him.
She ran over to the claw machines, scanned the code to add credit, and started playing excitedly.
