Before she could finish, Finn Hawthorne cut her off. "You don't want to see my second brother, do you? I'll get rid of him for you!"
Finn Hawthorne spun around and glared fiercely at Vincent Hawthorne, his eyes conveying a potent warning. 'You're the main culprit. Don't upset Faye now!'
Vincent Hawthorne, however, paid him no mind. He walked straight to the hospital bed and leaned over Faye Vaughn, his voice low. "If you need a lawyer, I can handle the case pro bono. I'll make sure those people rot in jail. If you don't want to sue them, I'll find other ways to get revenge for you."
The strange feeling inside Faye grew even stronger.
