Daylight filtered in through the window of Alucard's room. Skylar was asleep on his chest, and Alucard was asleep, holding her against him. With a small groan, he began to wake, his free hand rubbing his eyes open. He felt sore in a few places. He remembered last night and how things went. How Skylar covered him in marks and tried something with him. He remembered how it felt with her OnTop of him, her hand on his neck while moving on him.
"Skylar," Alucard groaned, his hands slid over Skylar's back as she slept on his chest. "How did I end up with you like this?"
"Mmm," Skylar groaned as she woke up. She looked up at Alucard, her eyes drooping from her sleep. Her voice was groggy from just waking up. "Morning."
"Good morning, Skylar," Alucard said, pressing a kiss to her forehead. "Ready for breakfast?"
"No," Skylar groaned, pressing into Alucard as if he were her own personal pillow. "Too early, need more sleep."
"But we need to get up, darling," Alucard said, rubbing his fingers through Skylar's hair. Skylar barely looked up, her face still sleepy.
"What do we tell the others?" Skylar groaned out, nuzzling into Alucard's chest. Skylar's cheek pressed against his chest. Alucard let out a low hum from within his chest and rubbed circles into her shoulder blades. "They are going to ask questions about the marks on your neck and the scratches on mine."
"Hm, guess we have to figure that out," Alucard said, playing with a lock of her hair. "Should we hide it for now? Or should we tell them about us starting this relationship? Or should we wait for a while?"
"No," Skylar grumbled. Nuzzling into Alucard. "If they ask, we can explain, but if they don't, then we don't mention it."
"Alright, Skylar," Alucard said, cuddling Skylar. Then he pulled the blanket up over himself and Skylar. "We can stay here for a few more minutes. Then, we have to get up for the day. No more delaying. Deal?"
"Deal," Skylar groaned, then buried herself against Alucard in bed. Alucard let out a short laugh and got back to cuddling Skylar. Skylar let out a grateful hum and cuddled into his side. Alucard watched her and ran his fingers through her hair while holding her against her side. Then a loud knocking came from Alucard's door.
"Alucard!" Dracule's voice rang from the other side of the door. "Get up! It's almost lunchtime! And that Maki bitch is missing from her room!"
"Ah," Alucard sighed, then he looked at Skylar, asleep in his arms. "I'll be out in a few minutes. I need some time to wake up."
"Fine, just get up before long," Dracule said from just past the door. "And check if that woman stole anything."
"Fine, fine," Alucard called over. But he made no move to leave the bed or Skylar's sleeping body on his chest. He didn't want this moment to end yet, or to wake Skylar yet. He told her a few more minutes, but he will most likely not be leaving until Skylar wakes up by herself.
"I will never lose Alucard, I can't lose him to anyone in any way," Skylar's voice echoed in his mind. When the two of them wore each other down last night, Skylar said those words, probably thinking Alucard had passed out from the event. Alucard's arms tightened around Skylar. He wanted her to feel what he feels for her. And he wanted to feel what she feels for him. Alucard wanted her to be his alone. And he wanted her to see him in the world.
"..." Alucard took a breath and buried his face in Skylar's hair, breathing in her scent. "... Can I have you all to myself, too? Not lose you to anyone, in any way, or to lose you in the world."
"..." Alucard wasn't aware, but Skylar was awake and listened in on his words. Hearing what he said... It made her heart flutter. She wanted to know if he meant it and wanted to hear it again. But if she made it known she was awake, would he repeat it? Or would he avoid talking about it?
"Maybe I'll ask again when you are awake, maybe even take you out somewhere to watch the night sky," Alucard mumbled into her hair as he began to doze off. Skylar looked up and watched his sleeping expression. She wanted to talk more, but decided against that to just enjoy the peace in the room for now. Skylar closed her eyes and nuzzled into his chest, enjoying the warmth of Alucard's body and the shared space under the blanket.
