Sumi and Taka looked between Alucard and Skylar, shocked to hear that Dracula was dead.
"Dracula is dead?" Sumi asked, Skylar just sheathed her sword and folded her arms.
"Yes," Alucard said. His eyes grew sorrowful looking at Sumi and Taka. Skylar looked at him; she tried to avoid giving him a sympathetic look. She knew Alucard would never want to be looked at like that, because it had to be done to save millions of lives. "By my hand. My sister's hand, Skylar's hand. And the hand of a speaker. And the hand of the last of the Belmonts."
"Under us is the Belmon hold," Skylar spoke up, her hand on Alucard's arm as he sheathed his sword using magic. "Repository of all their knowledge. Even spells like the one Sypha used to move the castle."
"And there is my castle, containing all of my father's knowledge," Alucard said. Then he turned to Sumi and Taka, pointing at his temple. "And up here is all of mine. You want to learn how to fight vampires and save your people?"
"More than anything," Sumi said.
"It will be hard," Alucard said, lowering his hand. "You will have to unlearn much about the world and take on more than you ever imagined. I'm not going to start this if you're going to stop when it gets difficult."
"We are committed," Taka affirmed. "We will take all that you can give."
"Well then, I think..." Alucard began to think aloud. Skylar watched him carefully. "To pass on the secrets of the world, and the true science... I think my mother would approve. Now you are not alone. Come on then. We begin."
"Okay," Taka smiled. Skylar followed Alucard closely. Sumi and Taka followed behind. Skylar knew when something wasn't right, but couldn't prove it yet. She needed more eyes on these two. She had to go talk with Dracule, but she would need Elizabeth as a mediator.
