If slaughterhouses had glass walls, everyone would be a vegetarian.
But right now, Xavier's basement had become a slaughterhouse and this too, didn't have glass walls.
Moreover, instead of animals, there was only one person being used in this slaughter house.
The naked man—Ashley.
Zane broke both legs of Ashley.
He also let go of his throat and that made the man fall on the floor.
Zane was kind.
He had compassion in his heart.
But when it comes to Milo, all his humanity and compassion gets used only on her.
He was partial towards her and he would stay this way as long as he was alive.
Therefore, even if Ashley was the father of a daughter, Zane wouldn't hold back.
He wasn't able to do anything in the Cathedral when Milo was hurt. He wasn't able to kill Kairon right there and then when he had hurt Milo.
All that, all those instances, the anger of all those instances came back to Zane at this moment and in front of him, Ashley was the unfortunate one to face all of it.
