Chapter 1 - Chapter 1:"The First Days at School"

Inside a classroom, a tall young boy sat in his new class, his face covered by a black mask and black sunglasses.

He wore black classic trousers, a black hoodie, and black dress shoes. The hood of his hoodie was pulled over his head.

To anyone looking at him from the outside, he seemed like an extremely mysterious person.

The boy was fourteen years old and appeared completely emotionless.

Boy (thinking):

"I've been through so many things.

"I still feel that more difficulties are waiting for me in the future.

"However, I'm ready...

"I'll overcome those difficulties without giving up."

He wanted to experience other emotions as well.

The boy couldn't even cry, no matter how hard he tried.

He had even rubbed onions and cloves against his eyes, yet he still couldn't shed a single tear.

Boy (thinking):

"I've gotten used to this village.

"My participation in boxing here has made me well-known throughout the village where I live.

"I've become a boxing champion several times.

"Generally, what surprises people isn't my title...

"It's the fact that I became a boxing champion without ever taking off my mask.

"Of course, I get a lot of questions.

"'Why do you wear a mask and a black blindfold during fights? Doesn't it cause you any difficulties? How can you see through them?'"

"And many questions like that.

"I always defeat my opponents with a single punch.

"And I don't even use 5% of my strength for that punch, if I'm not mistaken...

"And even if I can't see...

"I can still sense."

Ding, ding, ding...

The bell rang.

Boy (thinking):

"This is my first time coming to a place called school.

"For the first time in my fourteen years, I'm stepping into a school.

"And today, I'm finally here.

"The reason the school accepted me is because, even though I had never received a formal education at school before, I managed to complete an extremely difficult entrance exam with a perfect score.

"It seems the school thought that someone with this level of ability shouldn't be left without an education, so they accepted me.

"They also seem to have accepted me because of my reputation in the village.

"The school is confident that I can bring them many achievements..."

The classroom was empty.

Only the boy was sitting there alone.

Suddenly, a group of girls entered the classroom.

However, after seeing the strange-looking boy, the girls quietly took their seats.

They seemed a little frightened.

Girls (whispering among themselves):

"Who is he?"

"He's scary to me."

"Just imagine if he turns out to be a maniac..."

"Stop saying nonsense. Why would he be a maniac?"

Their whispers were clearly audible to the boy.

The boy noticed this, understood what they were thinking, and quietly remained in his seat without paying any attention to the girls.

Later, a group of boys began entering the classroom.

More boys began entering the classroom.

The eyes of the class Ataman fell upon the strange-looking boy.

The class Ataman was Bakhzhan—the strongest boy in the class when it came to fighting, and a little mischievous.

Bakhzhan looked at the boy.

"Um... who is this? A new student?"

The second Ataman immediately recognized him.

"No way... It's really him... You're standing right in front of the champion."

His name was Ermek.

Ermek was the second strongest boy in the class when it came to fighting, right after Bakhzhan. He was also a boxer and was still actively training.

He had started boxing two years before the boy did.

He was one of the elite students at the boxing club, and he was currently a huge fan of the boy.

Bakhzhan looked at the boy with curiosity.

"Wow... Um... I'm curious. Why is he covering his face?

"Is he really that ugly? Ha-ha-ha-ha..."

He laughed.

Ermek looked as if he had become worried about something.

He warned Bakhzhan.

"Heyyy... Bakha, my friend, don't say things like that...

"You don't seem to realize how strong he is.

"If you knew...

"You wouldn't joke like this.

"And you definitely wouldn't try to anger him."

Bakhzhan raised an eyebrow.

"Huh... Is that so?

"But his appearance is really interesting to me..."

He reached out his hand, intending to remove the boy's mask.

But the boy managed to grab his hand and stopped him.

Bakhzhan's eyes widened.

"Pfft... Ow... What is this strength!?"

The entire class was stunned.

The boy had grabbed Bakhzhan's hand so tightly that, without even realizing it, he nearly crushed it.

The boy released his hand.

Then, without showing any emotion, he spoke.

"Huh... I apologize.

"However, I don't think interfering with someone's personal boundaries without permission is the right decision."

Ermek nervously spoke.

"Champ, we're sorry... Don't be offended...

"I'll explain everything to that idiot later."

Bakhzhan became angry.

He suddenly lunged toward the boy.

"You little—!!!"

He shouted as he charged at him.

But just then, the class teacher entered the classroom.

The class teacher, Erbol Bakhytzhanuly, was thirty years old and the homeroom teacher of Class 8"A".

Erbol entered the classroom with an angry expression and immediately began scolding Bakhzhan.

"What is going on here!!! Instead of becoming friends with the new student, you..."

Bakhzhan immediately saw Erbol and lowered his head.

"I'm sorry... teacher."

The boy stood up and, without showing any emotion, looked directly into Teacher Erbol's eyes.

"Alright... teacher. It's fine. Please forgive them.

"I'm at fault too."

Teacher Erbol calmed down a little, cleared his throat, and prepared to speak.

"Alright... if you forgive them, then I have no objections either."

Teacher Erbol continued.

"So... new student, why don't you introduce yourself? The floor is yours."

The boy walked over to the board, stood in the center, and wrote his full name.

Aibar Rasululy.

"My full name is... Aibar Rasululy..."

Teacher Erbol smiled slightly.

"Excellent... Aibar... that's a very good name.

"Oh, right... I should introduce myself too.

"Erbol Bakhytzhanuly.

"Just call me Teacher Erbol."

Teacher Erbol glanced at the watch on his wrist.

"I have some things to take care of.

"You can talk among yourselves and get to know each other."

He then left the classroom to take care of his affairs.

As soon as Teacher Erbol left, the first subject teacher entered the classroom.

And the lesson began.

The lessons continued one after another.

And Aibar had already become one of the teachers' favorite students.

Ding, ding, ding...

The bell rang.

It was the break before the lesson preceding the final class of the day.

During the break, Bakhzhan remained seated at his desk.

He deliberately looked toward Aibar and began provoking him on purpose, clearly directing his words at him.

Bakhzhan smiled.

"At least I'm not like certain people.

"Yes, I'm mischievous, but people like me because of that. That's why I have so many friends.

"But some people hide their faces, act as if they're some kind of important person, and seem to think they're above everyone else.

"Even though he wants to look different from everyone else, he doesn't even realize that he's frightening all the girls."

Aibar remained calmly seated in his place, showing no emotion and paying no attention to him.

Bakhzhan seemed slightly irritated that Aibar was ignoring him.

His voice became a little more aggressive.

"You probably understand who I'm talking to, newbie.

"In short, you're making yourself hated.

"I'm starting to hate you because of that arrogance of yours.

"You understand, right?

"Compared to you, I'm a much more open and cheerful guy..."

Bakhzhan looked directly at Aibar.

Aibar spoke calmly.

"Arrogance? Interesting..."

Bakhzhan became slightly angry.

"What's so interesting... I might hate people like you for the rest of my life."

Aibar calmly replied.

"Hate? I think envy would be a more appropriate word.

"Because I haven't bragged yet.

"And even if I were to brag... even if the day came when I did...

"You shouldn't have a problem with me.

"Because I choose what I want for myself.

"Besides... arrogance isn't even an emotion that exists in my mind.

"On the contrary, seeing my face... might be unpleasant for you.

"Alright..."

Aibar stood up and walked over to Bakhzhan's desk.

Aibar remained calm and emotionless.

"Do you want to see my face?

"But it might be difficult for you..."

Bakhzhan suddenly stood up and faced him.

"Hey... arrogant bastard, what are you trying to say by that...?"

Aibar calmly replied.

"Nothing in particular...

"Do all of you want to see my face?

"Am I really that interesting to you?

"Fine...

"I'll try to fulfill your wish.

"Then gather the boys in this school who can fight.

"If you defeat me...

"I'll show you my face.

"Also... you can even bring wooden sticks or other weapons if you want.

"As for me...

"I'll fight without using either of my hands."

All the teachers opposed the idea after hearing this.

However, this school was ranked first in Kazakhstan for delinquency.

The students didn't even obey the teachers.

At the moment, they were only temporarily keeping themselves under control and obeying the teachers to avoid causing too much noise and getting into fights.

Aibar's bold words quickly spread throughout the school.

After hearing about Aibar's reputation, many students became interested and wanted to see his face.

All of them agreed to participate in the fight.

In the end, almost all of the boys in the school gathered.

Some of the delinquents were angry.

They were especially offended by Aibar's attitude, particularly by the fact that he had said they could even use weapons if they wanted.

According to the delinquents, no matter how many championships Aibar had won, he was still just a human being.

They thought he had no right to speak to them that way.

Some of the delinquents were angry and believed he needed to be taught a lesson.

Then a sinister plan came to their minds.

Their plan was simple...

They intended to break Aibar's arms and legs and leave him crippled.

The battle began.

The strongest delinquent among all the troublemakers gathered from across the school attacked Aibar first.

Aibar effortlessly avoided his clumsy attacks, letting every strike pass by without even touching him.

The other delinquents also swung whatever weapons they had found at Aibar, but they couldn't land a single hit.

Aibar moved with blinding speed, constantly retreating and defending himself, deliberately prolonging the fight.

The strongest delinquent among them shouted:

"You're a coward. You're weak..."

The moment Aibar heard those words, he immediately went on the counterattack.

Without any difficulty, Aibar kicked and defeated all of them with ease.

He calculated every strike so precisely that each kick was enough to knock down one opponent.

The students and teachers watching the battle through the windows were also shocked.

After defeating everyone, Aibar looked toward the school and spoke in a calm voice.

"I won..."

Aibar stood still for a moment.

Then, in a calm voice, he spoke again.

"Alright... it's fine.

"Even though I defeated you all, I want to take off this damn mask.

"Yes, if I take off my mask, I'll probably frighten all of you.

"But I think the time has come.

"Because you were curious about my appearance and wanted to see my face.

"I believe you'll accept me for who I am."

All the students' eyes were fixed on Aibar.

The students and teachers inside the school watched him, waiting.

Aibar spoke.

"Alright..."

First, he removed his black sunglasses.

Then, he slowly removed his mask.

Everyone was shocked.

There was complete silence.

Aibar removed his black sunglasses.

Everyone fell completely silent.

Aibar slowly opened his closed eyes.

Aibar's appearance was striking.

He had black hair, a handsome face, and a perfectly athletic appearance, evident from his ideal jawline and physique.

He was well-built and stood over 190 centimeters tall.

His beautiful crimson-red eyes seemed to shine.

There was a small black mole beneath the left side of his lower lip.

He was a cold-blooded, yet remarkably handsome young man.

The students and teachers stared at him.

"Whooooooooaaaaaa..."

None of the girls could take their eyes off him.

Some of them stood there, lost in their imagination.

"Impossible..."

Some of the girls thought to themselves:

"He's like a prince..."

Some of the boys also stared at him.

"Amazing..."

Some of them thought to themselves:

"I envy him..."

Even the teachers couldn't help admiring his handsome appearance.

"He told us we would be frightened.

"I thought he was saying that because his appearance was unpleasant.

"But how could anyone hide a face like that?"

Aibar stared at them without any emotion.

"Huh???"

The delinquents slowly began to come back to their senses.

Their strongest fighter finally realized that none of them had even been close to being a match for Aibar.

Reluctantly, they accepted their defeat.

The final lesson was underway.

Some of the girls in the class had already fallen in love with Aibar and couldn't take their eyes off him.

Eventually, the lesson ended.

Aibar returned home.

When Aibar arrived at his house, he opened the door and stepped inside.

His mentor was waiting for him.

His name was Azamat, Aibar's personal servant and mentor. He was thirty-four years old.

Azamat spoke.

"Sir, how was your first day at school?

"It seems you took off your mask and black sunglasses and finally showed them your real face..."

Aibar replied with a serious expression and a calm voice.

"It was a good day.

"Yes. My real appearance is no longer a secret."

Azamat spoke again.

"Sir... would you take a look at a few of my damaged parts sometime, when you have some free time?"

Azamat had lost his human body when Aibar was ten years old, after an unknown explosion.

Fortunately, his internal organs had remained intact, so Aibar had been able to give him a new body.

However, his new body was made of metal.

He was no longer truly human and now resembled a machine more than a person.

Aibar replied without emotion, but with a warm voice.

"Of course, Mentor...

"If you'd like, I can take a look right now."

Azamat shook his head.

"No, sir. Eat your dinner first."

Aibar calmly replied.

"Alright.

"Mentor, please wait a little..."

Azamat replied calmly.

"Sir, take your time and eat your meal.

"I'll wait for as long as you need."

Aibar sat motionlessly on the sofa, his expression emotionless.

As he sat there, he became lost in thought.

Aibar (thinking):

"I promise you again, Mentor.

"I'll restore your humanity.

"I owe you that.

"Because you ended up in this state trying to protect me...

"I'm sorry..."

Azamat looked at Aibar.

Seeing that Aibar had become lost in his thoughts, Azamat placed a hand on his shoulder.

"Ahh... Sir, are you thinking about that incident again?

"Don't worry about what happened.

"None of it was your fault..."

Aibar didn't want his mentor to worry.

So, with an emotionless expression, he lied.

"No, Mentor. I wasn't thinking about that incident.

"Don't worry about it.

"I'll finish my dinner quickly..."

Azamat slowly removed his hand from Aibar's shoulder.

Azamat (thinking):

"Sir... no, Aibar...

"I know very well how you act whenever you remember that incident.

"It's practically written all over your face.

"I remember the promise you made.

"And I'll wait for as long as you need."

Azamat silently looked at Aibar for a moment.

Then, in a warm voice, he said:

"I'll be waiting for you in the basement."

He then went into the secret room.

After finishing his dinner, Aibar went to solve his mentor's problem.

Once he had finished dealing with his problem, he turned his attention to his greenhouse garden.

Later, when night fell, he went to bed on time and fell asleep.
