Chapter 3 - Chapter 3: "The Guardian of Order"

After burying Asanali, Aibar sat motionlessly in his room, deep in thought.

(Thinking, with an emotionless expression):

"The red liquid...

"Father...

"Could you have something to do with this?

"No... I don't believe it.

"He's living a normal life now with another woman."

Aibar looked upward and let out a light sigh.

(Thinking):

"Ugh...

"But today, I killed someone.

"And it seems like I'll have to kill many more.

"Because not every villain will be like Asanali.

"But... before I kill them, I should calmly listen to their final words.

"And if they truly don't want to give up their evil ways...

"And if they choose death of their own free will, forcing me to kill them, just as Asanali did...

"Only under these two conditions... I won't have any other choice..."

Aibar continued looking upward.

His eyes suddenly widened, and he remained frozen for a moment.

(Thinking):

"I don't want this...

"But what if my theory is correct?

"What if Asanali joining the organization was part of a plan?

"What if... the delinquents were being funded by that unknown person Asanali mentioned?

"And that unknown person...

"You...?"

Aibar closed his eyes and came back to his senses.

With an emotionless expression, he thought:

"My head hurts.

"I think I need some rest.

"I shouldn't keep thinking about this in the middle of the night."

Aibar stood up, walked over to his bed, and sat down.

He slowly lay down and closed his eyes.

Soon, he fell asleep.

The next day, classes were underway.

However, it was true that Aibar was receiving unusual attention from his classmates—looks of both admiration and amazement.

The third lesson ended, and it was break time.

Meirzhan entered the school.

All the students from the lower grades took turns approaching him and greeting him with both hands.

It seemed that everyone was afraid of him.

Meirzhan was the school's number-one Ataman in fighting and, at the moment, the most frightening and dangerous boy in the school.

He was tall, standing at over 195 cm, and was a ninth-grade student.

After all the boys had passed by, Meirzhan noticed Nurdaulet.

Nurdaulet Samatuly was a tenth-grade student and the school president.

Meirzhan gave him a mocking grin.

"Hey, boss... Looks like I'm more respected than you."

Nurdaulet calmly replied:

"Do you really think you're respected?"

Meirzhan grinned.

"I don't think so... It's a fact.

"Everyone crawls before me like worms if I want them to.

"And don't forget that I can beat you and even the eleventh-graders.

"You're lucky... You're the school president and you're ugly."

Meirzhan approached him, extended his right hand, and grabbed Nurdaulet by the throat.

With a sly grin, he said:

"But... if you were a little more handsome..."

Before Meirzhan could finish his sentence, someone suddenly grabbed the hand he was using to choke Nurdaulet.

Meirzhan angrily turned his head.

Aibar looked at him emotionlessly.

"Let him go."

Meirzhan gave a slightly sly smile.

"Oh... the new student, and... your eyes..."

Before Meirzhan could finish his sentence, he suddenly felt intense pain and let go of Nurdaulet.

Nurdaulet gasped for breath, placing his hands on his knees as he took deep breaths.

Meirzhan slightly bent forward, placed his free hand on his knee, and let out a small cry of pain.

"Ah!!!"

Aibar released his grip on Meirzhan's hand.

At that moment, the teachers arrived.

Meirzhan gritted his teeth and glared angrily at Aibar.

Meanwhile, Aibar simply walked back toward his classroom as if nothing had happened, because the bell had rung.

Two teachers were standing there, looking at Meirzhan with disgust.

Meirzhan straightened up again, looked at Nurdaulet, and said angrily:

"You're lucky... You got away for now. I'll deal with you later."

Meirzhan then returned to his classroom.

The fourth lesson ended.

Meirzhan had gathered only the boys from his class, while the girls sat there as if they didn't care about them.

Meirzhan swept all the pens and notebooks off the first desk in the second row, then sat down at the desk.

With a cold expression, he spoke:

"While I was gone... what happened to the school?

"Why are there concrete chunks and a huge crater outside?

"And that red-eyed..."

Anger appeared on his face.

"Who is he... that handsome, arrogant guy with red eyes?

"Which class is he from...?"

Meirzhan's best friend, Edil, calmly answered:

"Meirzhan... that guy is Aibar. He's from Class 8A, and..."

Meirzhan raised his hand, signaling him to stop.

Edil continued:

"But, Meirzhan..."

Meirzhan shouted:

"I said stop!!!"

Everyone immediately fell silent.

Meirzhan spoke again:

"Go...

"Gather Class 8A and bring them here...

"You specifically."

He looked at Edil.

Edil didn't say anything.

He simply went outside to carry out the order.

Meirzhan then looked at another boy.

"11B has physical education right now...

"Gather them there."

That boy also went outside to carry out the order.

He then noticed Edil.

Edil looked at him and said quietly:

"Don't say anything... I'll do the talking."

The boy nodded in agreement.

The two of them began walking upstairs toward the third floor.

Meanwhile, the bell had already rung inside, and Class 8A was having a lesson.

There was a knock on the door.

Knock, knock...

The door opened, and Edil stepped inside.

"Teacher... the principal is gathering all the boys downstairs... Is that okay?"

The teacher nodded in agreement.

Edil continued:

"Just... he said that the boy named Aibar isn't needed. He said the hero should rest."

Aibar sensed something was wrong.

Even though Edil appeared confident, he was doing his best to keep his hands hidden behind his back.

Aibar read what Edil was thinking simply by looking at his expression.

All the boys stood up and began leaving the classroom.

Aibar remained quietly seated in his place.

Everyone began heading downstairs.

After they had left, Aibar calmly put his hands into the pockets of his classic trousers and began walking down the stairs at an unhurried pace.

Class 8A, along with Edil and his classmate, reached the lower floor and began leading the way toward Class 11B.

Everyone started entering the classroom.

Meirzhan and Class 9A were already there, waiting for them.

Once everyone had entered, Meirzhan closed the door, but he didn't lock it.

Class 8A understood what was happening.

Sadness spread across everyone's faces as they lined up in front of the board, standing shoulder to shoulder.

Meirzhan sat at the first desk in the first row.

He looked at Edil and spoke in a cold voice.

"Where is Aibar...?"

Meirzhan suddenly shouted:

"I said tell me!!!"

Edil calmly replied:

"He refused to come."

Meirzhan became so furious that he took his anger out on Class 8A.

He walked through the line, beating them one after another.

And at that very moment, Aibar was standing behind the door.

One of the Class 8A students, unable to endure the beating any longer, began crying loudly.

At that moment, the door suddenly burst open inward with tremendous force.

Aibar lowered the foot he had used to kick the door open and stepped inside, completely emotionless.

Aibar spoke in a cold voice:

"What is going on here?"

Meirzhan approached him cheerfully.

"Oh... darling, you came here yourself?"

Aibar looked directly into his eyes.

Meirzhan began to feel uneasy.

Indeed, when Aibar was angry, looking into his glowing crimson-red eyes caused a strange sensation to take over the body—a feeling of fear.

A red aura began to appear in Meirzhan's eyes.

Meirzhan became slightly flustered.

Trying to regain control of the situation, he suddenly punched Aibar in the stomach with all his strength without thinking.

His fist rebounded, and his hand immediately began hurting badly.

Meirzhan pulled his right hand back and grabbed it with his left.

But the pain only grew worse.

Everyone looked at Aibar.

This time...

A red aura began forming around him, taking the shape of a crimson-red monster.

Meirzhan stared at Aibar with his eyes wide open, completely frozen in place.

And it wasn't just Meirzhan.

Everyone stood there the same way, overwhelmed by fear.

Aibar extended one leg forward and kicked Meirzhan through the open window directly behind him.

Meirzhan lost consciousness.

Since they were on the first floor, he didn't fall from a great height.

He was simply left in a state of severe shock.

Aibar calmed down. With an emotionless expression, he said:

"Everything went according to plan."

Nothing had happened to Aibar. He had no injuries whatsoever.

Once Aibar's aura faded, everyone came back to their senses.

Edil was trembling slightly.

"You... you knew all of this...

"Why didn't I think of it earlier?

"Our teachers... as a precaution, would always try to contact the principal first...

"That's why we... couldn't have taken them away during class."

Aibar spoke in a cold voice:

"Disperse..."

Everyone began leaving happily.

Edil climbed out through the window and went to get his friend.

Once everyone had left, the bell rang.

The fifth lesson had ended.

Aibar began walking slowly toward the principal's office.

Aibar reached the door of the principal's office and stopped. Without moving, he spoke calmly:

"Alexei, if I'm not mistaken..."

A boy named Alexei, who was standing behind Aibar, looked at him and then continued on his way.

He had white hair and black eyes, was of average height—around 170–175 cm—and was a Class 9B student.

Aibar opened the door to the principal's office, entered, and took a seat opposite the principal.

With an emotionless expression, Aibar said:

"I believe my plan was successful."

The principal was Mr. Zhasulan Abdullauly, the 27-year-old principal of the private "Shyrak" School.

Mr. Zhasulan replied:

"Yes, Aibar... Everything happened exactly as you predicted.

"I believe in you... I believe that you can change my school and this village."

Aibar looked directly into his eyes, his expression emotionless.

"You're different..."

Mr. Zhasulan:

"Huh? What exactly do you mean?"

Aibar spoke calmly:

"Your mother and your younger brother were recently killed by the person who attacked your school..."

Mr. Zhasulan gave a slight smile.

Aibar remained silent, looking at him without continuing.

Mr. Zhasulan spoke:

"I have no choice... They're gone now. The living have to keep living.

"At least my wife and children are safe.

"As for my mother and younger brother... it seems they received the punishment they deserved."

Aibar calmly replied:

"No matter how bad they were, they were still members of your family.

"But you're not only looking at things from your own side...

"You're also trying to understand the other side."

Mr. Zhasulan replied:

"It doesn't matter... Let's get to business.

"So, you want to become a Guardian of Order.

"Fine... fine. You'll be the school's vice president, except...

"From now on, the position will be called Guardian of Order."

Ding, ding, ding... The sound of the bell rang out.

Classes for the first-shift students had ended.

The students happily made their way toward the exit, chatting loudly about going home.

But the school president, Nurdaulet Samatuly, stopped all the students and gestured for them to go to the assembly hall.

The students began whispering among themselves:

"Ugh... why...?"

All the students and teachers began gathering in the assembly hall.

Even some of the second-shift students had already arrived and joined them.

Soon, everyone had gathered in the hall—teachers and students alike.

Aibar stepped onto the stage.

With an emotionless expression, he spoke calmly into the microphone, making sure his voice could be heard by everyone.

Aibar:

"Hello, everyone.

"Please don't be angry with me for taking up your time.

"However, this meeting is important for all of us.

"Starting today, I am the Guardian of Order of this school..."

One of the younger students—or, as they could also be called, a second-shift student—raised his hand.

Aibar noticed him, nodded, and gave him permission to speak.

The younger student stood up.

"Guardian of Order...?

"Who is that, and what does he do?"

Aibar answered calmly:

"That's a very reasonable question.

"However, I can't answer that question right now.

"You'll see later.

"What is your name, boy?"

The younger student replied:

"Almaz."

Aibar calmly said:

"Almaz...

"I'll give you the answer without making you wait too long.

"Can you wait?"

Almaz replied:

"Okay..."

And so, one month passed.

During that month, Aibar put a great deal of effort into improving the school.

He dismantled the secret gatherings of delinquents and destroyed the funds of upperclassmen who collected money from other students.

Strict order was established.

Aibar harshly and mercilessly punished those who broke the rules.

The parents of the delinquents were not even allowed to file complaints against the school.

Because Aibar always provided evidence proving his sons' delinquent behavior. He left their parents with no grounds to file complaints.

Furthermore, the parents had heard everything about what had happened with Asanali, so they couldn't speak against Aibar.

None of the parents wanted their sons to become criminals, and they had no choice but to entrust their sons to Aibar.

Later, once the parents became convinced that Aibar was fair, they began to respect him.

Aibar also kept his promise and vowed to continue protecting the school and the world.

The parents were worried about their children. They feared that their school might become a battlefield and that their children could get hurt.

However, they knew that the Organization's target was the school. And even if they took their children away from the school, they knew that if the school fell, the Organization would destroy the world.

In other words, everyone had become dependent on Aibar.

One day, Aibar happened to meet Almaz in the school hallway.

Recognizing him, Aibar calmly said:

"I believe you got the answer to your question."

Almaz gave a slight smile.

"Yes. I got the full answer to my question. Thank you.

"You saved me when those older students were demanding money from me.

"Thank you."

Almaz continued:

"And also..."

He thought to himself:

*"You helped my family financially.

"But you probably think you've managed to hide that from me.

"However, I recognized you immediately.

"I saw you giving money to my father.

"I saw everything through the window.

"Thank you.

"I... I want to become like you...

"You're my idol.

"Thank you from the bottom of my heart."*

Almaz stood there lost in thought, a smile on his face.

Aibar calmly said:

"You said 'and also'...

"What else were you going to say?"

Almaz became slightly embarrassed, and his cheeks turned a little red.

His voice trembled.

"Oh... I'm sorry...

"It's nothing.

"Goodbye."

He then went on his way.

Aibar remained as emotionless as usual.

He exhaled deeply through his mouth.

"Aggh..."

Then he continued with his work.

Aibar had now been the Guardian of Order for more than a month.

At the moment, he had three titles:

1. Red Monster — the name the delinquents called him because they feared him.

2. Guardian of Order — the title by which the entire school, and sometimes even the villagers, knew him.

3. Hero — the title everyone gave him.
