"I-I mean no harm." said the driver shuts the engine off and gets out of the van. "Did you already meet the Teacher personally?" asked John as he came closer to Yeshua. The driver shook his head. "No." he said, "But I already convened with Him in my dream." continued the driver.
Yeshua walked closer to the driver then hugged him. "I'm so glad that you followed, Thomas!" said Yeshua then let go of the driver, Thomas, from His hug. "My family was against it but, here I am, Teacher." said Thomas as he smiled at Yeshua. "Were you all waiting for me here?" asked Thomas as he looked at each one of us behind Yeshua.
"Yes. And it took us six hours of walking just to get here." answered Matthew. I quickly elbowed him, and when Matthew looked at me, I looked at him with widened eyes and furrowed eyebrows. "What's wrong with you?" I whispered to him. "I just told him the truth!" He whispered back. "Well, some truths aren't meant to be told to another! Especially when you JUST MET the person you're telling it to!" I whispered back.
"Before you argue like a married couple," interrupted John as he stood between me and Matthew, "Can we just get on the van so we can finally get to rest in our own beds as soon as possible?" continued John as he looked at me then looked at Matthew. I sighed and nodded. "Thank you." said John as he turned around and walked towards the van. "Hurry up!" yelled Simon from the van.
And so Matthew and I quickly walked towards the van and got on it. "And these two are Maria and Matthew," said Andrew as soon as we got in the van. "Are they a couple?" asked Thomas, who is now seated at the driver's seat. "Oh, no, no, no, no, no! They aren't a couple, Thomas. Cause if they ARE, I won't allow Matthew to be at peace in their relationship." answered Simon who is seated at the back of Thomas's seat.
"Simon." called Yeshua who is now seated in the passenger's seat. And so I sat beside the window at the back of Andrew and Simon's seat and Matthew sat beside me. "Am I not allo—?" asked Simon but got interrupted when Andrew smacked his arm. "Yes, Teacher," said Simon. And Thomas began to drive the van. "Teacher," called Andrew. "Yes, Andrew?" asked Yeshua. "I've been meaning to ask and tell everyone… earlier… when the priest is blessing the Holy Eucharist along with the wine…"
"You saw it too?" asked John from the back of the van. "You too?" asked Andrew. "I saw it too, Andrew." I said. "Saw what?" whispered Matthew to me. "The moment when the veil lifted up from our eyes and saw what was happening whenever the priest blessed the Holy Eucharist." I whispered to Matthew.
"I saw it too," said Thomas. "When the priest raised up the Holy Eucharist, I saw–"
"The Crucifixion." said Thomas, Andrew, John, and me. "What? Isn't that already shown at the altar?" asked Simon. "This was different." answered Andrew. "It was like I was brought into the time of the—" Thomas stopped talking. "The execution of Yeshua." I whispered while looking at the passenger's seat.
"'Time of the' what, Thomas?" asked Simon. "The last hours of our Lord in His time." answered Thomas. And silence filled our atmosphere.
"You didn't see it, Simon?" asked Andrew. "You saw it didn't you, Jaime?" asked John as well. "Maybe next Sunday, I will." answered Simon. "Yeah, me too." answered Jaime as well. No need to ask Matthew, he already gave it away earlier by asking.
