When Rohit reached Arya's cabin, he was not surprised to find her already buried in work — scrolling through her notebook and typing furiously.
He knocked once.
No response.
Her attention remained locked on the screen.
Rohit glanced left and right, confirming there were no onlookers, then calmly walked in and sat in the visitor's chair. He crossed one leg over the other, settling in as if he owned the place.
That earned him a short, sharp glare from Arya before she returned to typing. A couple of minutes later she exhaled, closed the laptop screen, and finally looked at him. Her eyes were cold and vicious, as if she was deciding exactly where to start.
Rohit asked lazily,
"What? Still sore about me coming inside without asking your permission?"
Arya's face tightened. She stood up abruptly and pointed a finger at him, her voice trembling with barely controlled anger.
"Mind your tone, Rohit. Don't forget who you're talking to."
