Rohit scoffed and placed the documents back on the table.
"Not interested."
Arya's jaw dropped.
For a moment she struggled to believe he had rejected her offer so easily.
The offer had been generous, especially for someone still in high school — and she had genuinely believed the financial security and industry exposure would be enough to bind him.
Unless… he already had something else in mind.
She quickly composed herself.
"What is it then? What do you want?"
She opened a drawer, pulled out a blank cheque, and tossed it onto the table in front of him.
"Name your price. Fill in any amount. As long as it is within my reach, I swear on the Singhania name I will pay it."
Rohit raised an eyebrow, immediately shifting back into shameless mode as he ran his fingers through his hair.
"Am I that valuable now? I must be getting more charming."
Arya slammed her hand on the table, frustration flashing across her face.
"Enough. This is serious."
