As Alex and the other leave the Iron Maiden, they went into the space colony docking administration office, where James was waiting with the families of Uncle John, Uncle Brian, Arthur, and his parents. James and Emma hugged each other and talked about things like how they are spending their time these days and other regular things. After some time, James told everyone that tomorrow at 9:00 am, according to Eurasian time, they will power up the space colony, which will become fully habitable as the space colony starts to rotate around its lengthwise axis to create artificial gravity.
Then everyone talked together about how to arrange the things in the space colony and the issues about security and governance to which Alex suggested that the governance of the space colony must use a monarchy as it would be more efficient in operations for the coming years as they grow as a neutral entity because Alex believes once they have more space colony's they can effectively call themselves a neutral nation than private space colony. Alex asked James how the absorption of the space colony building technology is going.
James said, " We had many teams who are learning the entire process for the processing of the outer shell and making the land mass in the space colony. We have understood it completely, and I have already arranged searching for usable asteroids for the mining resources for the colony, and can also accelerate their resource acquisition for the manufacturing of the next space colony. But Alex, this space colony alone can support 20 million people, that too because we added many manufacturing factories inside the space colony instead of adding them on the outside, which could have made things safe and easier."
Alex said " Although having the manufacturing factories outside would have been safer it is still not good for our people who are not used the working of space environment we can slowly get our employees and researchers used to the work in the facilities out the space colony in the few we have for manufacturing the Battleships and MS. As for the need for other space colony trust me I had a bet with Uncle Patrick to move into our space colony after the war and I am sure I can use his influence to move more people into the new space colony from plants."
James said, " And you expect Patrick Zala to actually follow your rules?"
Alex replied, " Of course, I don't expect him to follow our rules, but I expect him to share the danger from plants and EA in the future. Trust me, he will do it not because he wants to help us or for any balance but just because of his ambition to prove himself and leave his name in history."
Alex explained how most of them misunderstand Patrick Zala as just a person who thinks coordinators as an evolved and superior race of humans but they don't understand all his assertions and desire for victory are not only to prove their superiority but also to leave his name in history as the greatest leader who created a bright future for the coordinators since the distinction caused by the blue cosmos can't be erased and will only grow stronger with time.
Although Alex also thinks that his current understanding of Patrick Zala is different because he hasn't gone mad over the loss of his wife, and with his future spoiler, he can save more coordinators, so even if he had to act dead by using his own people to hide the fact of his survival. Alex wants to know how Durandal or others will try to kill Patrick Zala this time, since he won't actually be crazy enough to attack the Earth.
After discussing the things about the future of the space colony, James and the others went to observe the colony and the factories, while Alex took the younger generation to the Crimson Moon hangar, where there are many simulation pods for the practice battles, as he had already received news about the enemies coming for the space colony from Patrick Zala.
Arthur called for his crew which are the regular crew of the Crimson Moon who were working in the Iron Maiden and just got out for rest to the ship as the ship can connect to the simulation cabin so they can have full simulation with both the ship and MS while waiting for the crew Alex asked Arthur about the vice captain as he didn't know much about him other than that his name was Lucas Taylor.
Arthur said he was a coordinator orphan of the blue cosmos attack who was rescued by James when they first moved to Eurasia. Later, he studied with William for some time and then left them to take revenge on the blue cosmos members who were responsible for the deaths of his family. James, who felt sorry for him, supported him every now and then.
According to Arthur, he first worked with the junk guild and then became a mercenary. After a few years, he had many connections and was experienced in naval fights as the captain of a cruiser, and only recently, he had finally found his parents killer and killed them. After which he decided to settle down, which was when he met with James to repay his kindness and also to settle down.
Arthur said that his father, William, arranged him as the captain of the Iron Maiden to get used to space navigation and also arranged him as the vice captain of the Crimson Moon because he was worried that Arthur couldn't handle the situation soon. so have an experienced person like Lucas would help Arthur, and also told to learn from him.
Alex then asked if he was the captain candidate for the Battleship, which will be made later, as to whether they fill up their defense force, for which Arthur confirmed and told that Lucas would be working in the Crimson Moon for half a year, watching over him and teaching. After that, Lucas will be assigned to the colony defense with the new Battleship, which was designed by Alex and is being improved in many places, and is waiting for the engine, which Alex promised to be delivered after September of this year.
Once the crew was on the ship, they didn't start the simulation immediately, but instead had the MS of Alex, Eric, Steve, Nicol, and Tolle move to the Crimson Moon and then leave the dock of the space colony to the outside of the space colony. While on the way out Arthur asked why Aisha had not come to the space colony for which Alex replied that she was staying in the Orb villa and they will meet with her once they take care of the things here in the space colony such as the transfer of the people and also the battle that will happen soon and any others who might come in between. Alex told everyone they will leave for Orb around June 15.
Once outside the space colony, they moved some distance to observe that it was a massive open type cylinder structure similar to Heliopolis, with a length of 40 Kilometers and a diameter of 6.5 Kilometers which was built in a way that the space colony rotates around its lengthwise Axis to create artificial gravity of approximately 1G.
Alex can't help but marvel at the speed of the construction, saying that it is amazing that this colony could be completed in time of one year and 3 months. Arthur said that he heard how it took so long was because the entire work was done slowly learn everything about the construction and maintenance of the colony and it is expected that if they want to construct a new colony in the future they will only need a time of nine months to finish the construction of a new space colony as long as they have the resources for it.
Alex also thought about how to secure the resources for the other space colony from Patrick Zala, even though he would give it to him. If Patrick Zala himself feels it is not needed, then it would be difficult to get the resources from him to make the space colony. So it seems he needs to visit Patrick Zala one more time to get him to contribute resources for the construction of the new space colony, which is made for him. Alex thinks he should also use the future spoiler of requiem attack on the plants, and how Patrick can use this to absorb a large population for the space colony later, so that he can accept the usefulness of the space colony.
Once they got a good look at the outside of the space colony, Alex decided it was time to do what he came here to do, which was to practice in the simulation pods for the upcoming battle, which would happen soon after the space colony was fully operational.
