Once Alex had some time, he quickly got into designing the Shield with twin gatling beam guns. Considering the shield made from the new laminated alloys would be a large type, to make the best use of the material's ability, he improved the beam power of the twin gatling beam guns by adding a better generator for the gun, so that it can produce a stronger beam fast enough for it to be fired at the speed with which the current twin gatling beam gun is firing.
After designing the shield, he also changed the connection ports for the Stratos Gundam, with which it could attach the shield even in MA form without affecting the speed. As the current version also had an option for the shield to be attached to the left arm's external connection, but it would affect the MS's ability when in MA, which is one of the reasons he used the MS without a shield, but for now, he will have to make do with the current shield until the people of research division go through with his design for the new shield and it's connection point to the MS while also verifying whether or not this shield will affect the MA form and how the aerodynamics will hold. The researchers will adjust the shield according to the aerodynamics needed to maintain the air superiority of the MS, while trying their best to keep Alex's design as the base.
After he was done with sending the data to the research, which is also current hold some of the top researchers of the group who had been here for some time. Alex went to the communication stations to try and see if the Re: HOME, which is the ship belonging to Lowe and his friends, is contactable. As luck would have it, Lowe was in space and replied to the encrypted signal, and once he was on the call, Alex asked if Lowe would trade for the Blade made of the new laminated alloy. Once Lowe knew about the alloy, he wanted it even though he might not be able to reverse engineer the alloy, but he hoped he could, and even if he could not, he would have a new blade that was also very powerful.
So Lowe agreed to trade the dragoon system data with Alex and decided to meet Alex at the Junius 7, as he has work there, for which Alex agreed and decided to go there after getting everyone who is transferring to the colony arranged.

Alex had a good night's sleep and woke up for the new day. After confirming with everyone, there were no surprise attacks after yesterday's battle. Alex went to meet the people at the research lab to ask if the data verification for the new shield and modified connection points was arranged, for which the researchers replied that it was not so simple to change the shield while retaining the MS's high mobility, and said they needed at least 10 to 15 days to do a proper job for the MS. When Alex heard this he was disappointed as that would mean he would have to sacrifice his mobility during this time if he encounter any unexpected battles. Also, they said to Alex it is best not to expect any results from them before 20th May as they had to work on the disabled veterans who will be transferred today, and they will be short staffed till 6th May, when the Medical personal come in to fill the work.
Alex didn't question them as he had an idea why they were busy, it was because of the technology they created using the knowledge of seed world and the 00 World. That is, they used the seed world's cloning technology to create the limbs and organs needed to replace those of the veterans, while using the nanobots from 00 and genetic knowledge from seed they were able to remove any defects from the cloned parts and also be able to successful reattach the missing limbs or change the damaged organs which are currently being supported by machines.
After a few hours, the first batch of people was sent from Orb, as this was the time for which the Ashfords asked the Orb government for priority use of the mass driver when they gave the 3 units of Stratos Gundams and the weapons. It is estimated that the entire day, the port will be filled with continuous shuttles coming and leaving. As for those being treated for their disabilities, it is naturally in the order they are coming to the space colony. As this order was arranged by Alex after thoroughly screening the people and their characters. Once they are treated, they will be assigned to their duties in the space colony patrol and the Space colony defense forces.
Alex watched the first few people whose disabilities were cured and felt happy for them, and went back to the Crimson Moon to work on his MS as they were repairing the damages that occurred during yesterday's fight. Once he was in the MS cockpit, Alex thought about it and estimated that even if the data for the new shield is processed by the 20th of May, it would still take a few more days to readjust his MS, as the process is very delicate and requires a great amount of caution. So Alex thinks he can get the data from Lowe first before meeting with Patrick Zala again, as that way he can go through the work for the dragoon system upgrading of Steve's MS to the researcher at the lab without stressing too much, while giving them a simple outline of the expected shape and number of dragoons.
Slowly, the people received from the Earth were being treated and sent to the living quarters where their new homes are made, and explained to them about the space colony by providing them with a digital guide about the colony, only public space. As for the military docks and factories, they will only be known to the once who will be working there. For the entire day there were busy receiving the new residents, and in the next 3 days, they received the resources such as food and other supplies, which will last for a year. During this time, the colony will also try to be self sufficient by itself. These three days, while receiving supplies, the first batch of people also got used to their jobs in the space patrol and space defense force. Many veterans are still waiting for the 2nd batch with medical personnel to arrive so that they can treat all the members of their problems, whether it is disabilities or internal injuries to the organs.

Finally it is the day to receive the second batch of people which filled with medical personal who are being received in the docks and their shuttles sent back after everyone is received even when there are no more people to receive these past three days Orb's mass driver was never in the process of rest as it had been used continuously for the recourse transfer and even today after these people are settled the last batch of resources will be transfer.
Once the medical personnel came, the process of the treatment started to pick up pace, and it is estimated they would be done with the treatment of everyone in 2 days, including the people who will come tomorrow, as the Medical personal have all the data and samples for everyone transferred with them to completely settle everyone as soon as possible. So everyone can watch EA, which is controlled by Blue Cosmos, sacrifice a large number of people selfishly, so that they can all completely abandon the EA. The whole day, as soon as the medical personnel got into their homes, once they settled their families, they immediately went to the hospital facilities to start work on the veterans.

Finally, today, everyone scheduled to reach the space colony has arrived, and the final shuttles from Orb's mass driver were launched. After a continuous and heavy workload, the Orb's Mass driver will have rest, and the Orb government is also happy that it won't have to send anything into space when the ZAFT is about to launch its major assault on EA.
Today, all the veterans who have been received were arranged by the 1st batch of people who have gotten used to the space colony during these few days. while also telling them about the incredible medical advancements, while helping them get used to the new life in the space colony.
