Finally, the day of beginning the space colony's activation had come. At 9:00 am Eurasian time, they fully activated the space colony's power supply, rotation for gravity, and all other facilities to make it habitable for humans to live. Once the space colony was fully activated, James took Emma to the interior to experience the artificial gravity generated by the space colony rotating lengthwise on it's Axis. Although everything looked peaceful on the outside, Alex and the others knew that this was only temporary, and soon the EA forces, which are disguised as pirates will surely attack the space colony.
And just as they expected many EA battleships consisting of the Nelson class battleships, Agamemnon class battleships and finally the drake class ships came near the space colony but were faced with the prepared artillery beam bombardment by the Buster Gundam which were standing on the outside of the space colony while connecting to the power conduits of the space colony, which used the power from the space colony to maintain the use of the Hyper impulse long range sniper rifle continuous beam bombardment against the EA forces. The hyper impulse long range sniper rifle is formed when the high energy rifle and gun Launcher combine, with the high energy rifle on the front.
The concentrated long range beam attacks had started to damage and even destroy the ships of the EA. Although a single beam attack by the hyper impulse long range sniper rifle cannot destroy the battleships even if they were made with anti ship combat and sniping in mind, with multiple hyper impulse long range sniper rifles it was still possible to take down one ship in one barrage which caused the captains of those ships to quickly retreat and release their MA's and MS's in large number and the really made Alex understand how much he underestimated the EA's resolve or may be the resolve of the blue cosmos who control the EA.
Once the GINNs and Moebius were launched, except for the Buster team, which was still maintaining the long range snipping, and Eric, who also joined them using his two long range beam cannons with power conduits connected so that he wouldn't have to worry about power. Everyone else left the colony in the two Archangel class battleships to attack the EA ships while dealing with the MA and MS that attack them.
Once the Indomitable was in the effective range for battle against the EA ships, John and Brian launched in their Strike Gundam using the Aile striker pack for high mobility so that they could ensure the protection of the Indomitable. Tolle, learning from his simulation, charged just to the outside of the group of the EA units and started to use the twin beam gatling to sweep the MAs of the EA causing heavy damage to them easily as they were not made to with stand such fire power and when he noticed any MS getting close he would switch the weapons and use the 350 mm rail gun to take it down in one shot most of the times and only take more shot when the pilots evade causing him to fail to take them down.
As for Alex, he went into the MA group to make them unable to effectively fight back while he took them down using the rapid fire beam rifle, which was highly effective against the MAs. Whenever he does enough damage in an area to cause an opening for the rest of the units to attack him, Alex switches to the MA form and quickly charges into other places with more MAs. While he was doing this, whenever any MS tries to attack him, he uses the two rapid fire beam rifles to suppress them first and finally destroy them when their movement range is suppressed.
As for the battleship battle, Arthur simply used Nicol as a shield to protect the bridge, and using the Crimson Moon's new Laminated alloy's sturdy defenses, he simply charged at the EA ships and took them down using the two 225cm dual beam cannons, which are above the two launch bays of the ship, and using positron cannons whenever they are ready. with ruthless style of injury for injury, he quickly destroyed most of the ships except for a few carriers, which were at the back, and quickly retreated along with the surviving MA and MS.
As for the Indomitable, although it didn't charge as recklessly as the Crimson Moon with an experienced captain like William, who had completely gotten used to all the weapons of the Archangel class battleship, they took down 3 the ships without suffering any damage or attacks on them.
Once the EA carriers left, everyone returned to the space colony and started to check the damage and see if anyone was injured or had died during this fight. Fortunately, no one was dead or injured because of crushing technological suppression, as EA didn't want to use their advanced ships and MSs to keep them as a surprise for the attack on the ZAFT.
The only damage during this time was to the Crimson Moon, Tolle's MS, and Alex's MS. The Crimson Moon needs no explaining. Even though the new Laminated alloy was very powerful, it was not invincible, and the weapons were also easier to damage. So once we were back, Arthur had an earful from his father about how reckless he was, and such a tactic can never be used when on a journey, as it would eventually cause them to be sunk. Also, the repairs and material cost itself make all those victories against the ships useless.
As for Tolle's MS, even though he was only sweeping the MA, the occasional MS, despite his best efforts to take them down, would still effectively launch an attack, which is the reason for the damage to the MS. Although there were only minor damages, it was still because Tolle was not an Ace pilot.
As for Alex's MS, that is what happens when you don't carry a shield and charge into a group of MA, even if their attacks were limited to avoid friendly fire them would still hit his MS when he is charging over. Alex knowing that he cannot convince his father or mother had no choice but to accept the situation but since he didn't want to sacrifice his ability to put out continuous attacks on his enemies he decided to propose the shield be added with twin gatling beam gun like the one Unicorn Gundam had and once he got the dragoon system data from Lowe Alex plans to turn the shield into a dragoon type while also having two more to emulate the Unicorn as it was his favorite Gundam though that would require him to modify his unit a little as he doesn't want to lose the ability of the MA form for now. because the current MS cannot provide him with sufficient acceleration as available in his MA form.
Once he gets the freedom and justice data from Patrick Zala after the war. When Patrick comes to live in the Ashford colony, he believes he can make good MS with high speed, as for the 00 Gundam data, it is a GN drive machine without the GN drive, most of its abilities will fall short, even the defense of the MS is because the GN particle makes the E carbon harder and effectively stronger.
