Ezra
When I woke up, Allen was already awake.
He didn't say anything. He just stared at me. His eyes held a strange intensity.
There wasn't even the slightest smile on his face, yet something about the way he was looking at me made my chest feel warm.
I blinked a few times before smiling sleepily.
"How long have you been staring?"
He smiled.
"Long enough to see you drooling." I turned red with embarrassment.
"Nothing to be ashamed of. You always look beautiful. If anything, I found it really cute."
"That's creepy behavior Allen."
"I know."
His hand came up, brushing a few strands of hair away from my forehead. His fingers lingered against my cheek, they were warm and gentle.
"I missed this." His voice held a certain heaviness to it. I frowned.
"You literally saw me this morning."
"I know."
"And you've been beside me almost every day."
"Correction, beside you and inside you."
I rolled my eyes at him.
