"I will try, darling."
Zade smirked as he put more weight on his leg on Rai.
"Bastard. it's not morning, is it?" Rai grumbled, his voice thick and raspy again.
He shifted his body, stretching his arms high above his head to work out the kinks in his muscles.
Though Zade noted with a deep, smug satisfaction that Rai didn't actually make any real effort to pull away from his embrace.
In fact, as Rai's arms came back down, his hand naturally came to rest against Zade's waist, his fingers idly rubbing the fabric of his shirt in a subconscious gesture of familiarity that made Zade's chest tighten. "What time is it?"
"It's almost 6:30 PM," Zade replied, mirroring the stretch and letting out a wide yawn. A second later, Rai caught the yawn, exhaling a sleepy, defeated sigh of his own.
