The inn had become a battlefield. Gojung's shadow was spreading across the floor like a boiling black ocean. It no longer obeyed him; it wanted to be free.
🌑 The Shadow's Mutiny
The Shadow Stalkers merged with Gojung's uncontrolled shadow, surrounding the Guardians. Gojung was on his knees, clutching his head and screaming.
Gojung: "Run! I can't hold it back! It's going to swallow you all!"
Ethos's Voice (Echoing): "This is your destiny, Gojung. The shadow that gave you life is now coming to collect the price of your soul."
🛡️ The Test of Unity
Mei-Lin formed a protective circle with her golden energy.
Mei-Lin (✨): "Guardians! We must calm the 'Void' inside Gojung. We need to focus all our aura together onto his heart!"
Akira (🌪️): "But if we pour all our power in, will he be able to withstand it?"

😂 High Tension & High Sparks
Everyone began channeling their energy toward Gojung. But Kael, being his usual over-enthusiastic self, held his staff upside down.

As Kael released his lightning, it missed Gojung and hit a large pot of water that Seiya had filled.
Seiya (🌊): "Kael! Are you crazy?!"
The electrified water splashed across the floor. As Gojung's shadow touched the wet surface, the electrical conduction 'short-circuited' the darkness. The shadow began to twitch and spark as if it were being electrocuted. ⚡💦🕺
Kael (⚡): "See! My master plan! Wet the shadow and then shock it!" (Even though it was a total accident).
💥 Calming the Void
Taking advantage of the distraction, Ryun sent his White Flame and Mei-Lin sent her Soul Light deep into Gojung. The darkness slowly began to recede. The pitch-black color of Gojung's eyes returned to normal.
The Shadow Stalkers couldn't handle the intensity of the combined light and vanished like smoke.
🤝 A New Gojung
When everything went silent, Gojung stood there, drenched in sweat. His shadow was calm now, but it wasn't just a black stain anymore—it had a faint, pulsing Blue Glow within it.
Gojung (🌑): "You risked your lives... for someone like me?"
Kael (⚡): "Duh, bro! If you left, who would give me your hoodie? Plus, I still owe you for those shoes."
Mei-Lin (✨): "We are Seven, Gojung. If even one falls, the world will never see a dawn."

"The shadow is tamed, but the secret is out. Gojung has gained a new power, but Ethos is not done yet. The tournament resumes tomorrow, and the finals are calling.
