Chapter 12: War in the Clouds — The Sky Fortress of Ethos ☁️🏰⚔️
The White City was floating, but above it loomed Ethos's 'Fortress of Black Death.' A massive metallic palace in the sky, from which thousands of dark shadows were raining down upon the world.
🚀 The Ascent
The Guardians needed to reach that fortress, but they didn't have wings.
Kael (⚡): "Bro, I'm ready to fly, but does anyone have a parachute? Or are we just planning to hit the ground like 'chutney'?"
Akira (🌪️): "Stop joking, Kael! Ryun, generate heat! Seiya, create steam! I'll use wind pressure to launch us all upwards!"
With a massive boom, the seven Guardians shot into the sky like a human rocket. Mei-Lin encased them in her golden aura shield to prevent them from burning up during the ascent.
🏰 Landing & Chaos
The landing on the fortress roof wasn't as 'cool' as they imagined.
Kael crashed directly onto a guard's dining table. "Oh! Can I get a pizza? No? Then take a shock!" ⚡🍕
Minho sprouted roots from his boots, gripping the metal roof as if it were a mountain. "This place is made of iron! It needs some serious greenery!"
Ryun and Gojung melted the main blast doors with their combined energy.
🏹 Minho's Moment: The Iron Jungle
Inside, the fortress was crawling with Ethos's 'Mechanical Soldiers.' Minho closed his eyes and channeled his aura into the very structure of the ship.
Minho (🌿): "So what if there's no soil? Iron, too, is born from the womb of the Earth!"
Suddenly, jagged iron roots erupted from the walls, crushing the robotic soldiers into scrap metal.
Kael (⚡): "Whoa, Minho! You're like Magneto's younger, angrier brother!"
💥 The Ultimate Weapon: The Void Engine
As they reached the throne room, they saw Ethos standing before a massive engine. It was absorbing the city's aura and converting it into a cataclysmic bomb.
Ethos: "You're too late, Guardians. This engine cannot be stopped. When it detonates, this city and your names will be erased from history."
Gojung (🌑): "The engine won't explode, Ethos. Because today, seven souls beat as one!"
Gojung stepped forward, his blue-glowing shadow so bright that Ethos's dark kingdom began to pale. But suddenly, a pitch-black hand emerged from the engine and grabbed Gojung by the throat. It was the Avatar of the Void!
🌪️ Final Narration
"The final boss has appeared from within the machine itself. With Gojung in the clutches of the Void and the engine seconds away from detonation, the Seven Guardians face their ultimate sacrifice.
