Kevin walked the last, trailing after the others. His heart thumped as he thought about where Ashrik would bring them.
He had heard about the ice wielder looking for a new house. He knew that it was due to his sudden appearance.
Last night, Kevin tried giving the room back to Felix. He could simply sleep in the living room. After all, the house was much, much better than the lab and the train depot.
But Felix quickly shoved him back into the room. The former said he felt like bothering Isaac again. Before Kevin could refuse, he had disappeared into the room next door.
'They said it won't take too much effort. But... is it true?'
Kevin exhaled, thinking back to his conversation with the others before Ashrik returned.
He voiced his guilt for troubling them, especially the ice wielder, who had to look for a new house. But they quickly comforted him.
They said this was bound to happen. They had also reassured him that this was just a trivial matter.
