The last of the old seals split open with a deep, resonant crack. Red light flooded the sealed area in a sudden wave, and the major fragment finally rose into full view above a cracked altar of black stone. The power coming from it was dense and old, and it reached straight for Wei Chen's bloodline without hesitation.
The rival felt the shift at once. His golden energy flared as he tried to close the distance before the connection could complete.
Wei Chen did not give him the chance. The fragment's power settled into him in a clear surge, denser and more responsive than before. His next Yang burst carried that extra weight and forced the rival to block harder than he had at any point in the fight. The platform under them cracked further. Pieces of stone broke away and fell into the void.
Around the main clash the rest of the group kept the battlefield under control. Tigress Yu and Zhao Yin cut down the residual shadow energy that kept rising under the fragment's light. Huo Yan timed her flames with the ice from Lan Qing and Mei Yun, creating controlled bursts that cleared space whenever the platforms shifted. The disciples held the edges, finishing anything that slipped past with short, efficient boosts from the harmony scripture.
The fragment continued to feed Wei Chen. Each exchange with the rival felt sharper. The golden energy still carried the weight of a higher realm, but the balance had tilted further.
During a short stretch where the rival was forced to defend against a rapid series of strengthened bursts, the pressure on the surrounding platforms eased. Wei Chen passed Tigress Yu, checked the cut on her arm with a glance, then rubbed her firmly between her legs while speaking low.
"Still steady. Keep it that way."
She gave a short breath and pressed against his hand for a few seconds before he turned back to the rival.
A little later, while the disciples cleared broken stone from a shifting edge, Wei Chen pulled Zhao Yin close behind a more stable section. He guided her down, pushed into her mouth, and moved with controlled rhythm while the main clash continued nearby. She took him quietly until he pulled back and stepped into the fight again.
The rival pressed harder, trying to break the new rhythm before the fragment's power could settle any further. Golden energy left deeper marks across the stone. Wei Chen matched him with the denser Yang, slipping through openings and answering with focused bursts that forced the rival to give ground in small but clear increments.
In a brief opening after a heavy exchange, Wei Chen found Lan Qing steadying her breathing near the edge. He dropped lower, parted her legs, and licked her with focused pressure until her thighs tensed and she came with a soft, controlled sound. He stood, wiped his mouth, and moved back into position.
Mei Yun received a short moment while she prepared another cast. He stood behind her, cupped her breasts, and moved his thumbs across her nipples as he spoke close to her ear.
"Keep the mix ready. The fragment is fully open."
She nodded, a light flush on her face, and continued.
The clash intensified again. More residual energy from the broken seals stirred hard. Tigress Yu and Zhao Yin moved quickly to cut it down. Huo Yan and the ice queens launched a strong combined blast that cleared a wider path toward the floating fragment. The disciples held formation and prevented anything from reaching the center.
Wei Chen felt the fragment's connection deepen another layer. A clearer rise in the density of his Yang spread through him, sharper and more responsive. The rival saw the change and his expression darkened further.
He gathered a larger amount of golden energy than before. The pressure around him rose sharply. At the same time the fragment's red light pulsed harder, as if answering the challenge directly and feeding Wei Chen even more.
Wei Chen prepared to meet the next full strike. The two powers built toward another collision as the unsealed fragment continued to pour its old power into the battlefield.
The red light ahead flared once more. The fragment itself began to move, drifting slowly toward Wei Chen as if the bloodline connection had already been decided.
