The unsealed fragment drifted steadily toward Wei Chen, red light trailing behind it like a living current. The power inside it reached for his bloodline without resistance. The rival saw it and poured more golden energy into his next strike, trying to break Wei Chen's focus before the connection could complete.
Wei Chen met the attack with a denser burst of Yang and kept moving. The fragment settled against his chest. A deep, old power flooded into him at once — heavier and clearer than any of the smaller pieces he had claimed before. His Yang energy thickened. The air around him grew hotter.
The rival's expression tightened. He launched a heavier sequence of strikes, each one carrying the full weight of his higher-realm cultivation. Wei Chen answered with the new strength the fragment was feeding him, slipping through the openings and driving the rival back across the cracked platform.
Around them the rest of the group kept the battlefield under control. Tigress Yu and Zhao Yin cut down the residual shadow energy that kept rising under the fragment's light. Huo Yan timed her flames with the ice from Lan Qing and Mei Yun, creating controlled bursts that cleared space whenever the platforms shifted. The disciples held the edges, finishing anything that slipped past with short, efficient boosts from the harmony scripture.
The fragment's power continued to settle. Each exchange with the rival felt sharper. The golden energy still carried real weight, but the balance had tilted further in Wei Chen's favor.
During a short stretch where the rival was forced to block a rapid series of strengthened bursts, the pressure on the surrounding platforms eased. Wei Chen passed Tigress Yu, checked the cut on her arm with a glance, then rubbed her firmly between her legs while speaking low.
"Still steady. Keep it that way."
She gave a short breath and pressed against his hand for a few seconds before he turned back to the rival.
A little later, while the disciples cleared broken stone from a shifting edge, Wei Chen pulled Zhao Yin close behind a more stable section. He guided her down, pushed into her mouth, and moved with controlled rhythm while the main clash continued nearby. She took him quietly until he pulled back and stepped into the fight again.
The rival pressed harder, trying to break the new rhythm before the fragment's power could settle any further. Golden energy left deeper marks across the stone. Wei Chen matched him with the denser Yang, slipping through openings and answering with focused bursts that forced the rival to give ground in clear increments.
In a brief opening after a heavy exchange, Wei Chen found Lan Qing steadying her breathing near the edge. He dropped lower, parted her legs, and licked her with focused pressure until her thighs tensed and she came with a soft, controlled sound. He stood, wiped his mouth, and moved back into position.
Mei Yun received a short moment while she prepared another cast. He stood behind her, cupped her breasts, and moved his thumbs across her nipples as he spoke close to her ear.
"Keep the mix ready. The fragment is mine now."
She nodded, a light flush on her face, and continued.
The clash intensified again. More residual energy from the broken seals stirred hard. Tigress Yu and Zhao Yin moved quickly to cut it down. Huo Yan and the ice queens launched a strong combined blast that cleared a wider path. The disciples held formation and prevented anything from reaching the center.
Wei Chen felt the fragment's connection lock into place. A clear rise in the density of his Yang spread through him, sharper and more responsive than before. The rival saw the change and his expression darkened further.
He gathered a larger amount of golden energy than he had used at any point in the fight. The pressure around him rose sharply. At the same time the claimed fragment pulsed once more, feeding Wei Chen even as the rival prepared his strongest strike yet.
Wei Chen prepared to meet it. The two powers built toward another collision as the deeper sealed area continued to react to the fully claimed fragment.
The red light around Wei Chen flared brighter. The rival's golden energy reached its peak.
