Chapter 54 — "Hoka-Hoka Hero"
---
**Team 2 – Inside the Loop Cave**
Jin-young patted his pocket—once, twice—then pulled out a tiny silver device no bigger than a matchbox.
Everyone crowded around.
Min-young's eyes lit up.
"Ahh! This one! So you actually asked Hasegawa for it?"
Jin-young grinned—proud.
"Yep. I said 'sometimes even tiny things become useful.' She rolled her eyes… but gave it anyway."
A soldier leaned in.
"Ahhh! It's the 'Hoka-Hoka' Bots!"
Jin-young immediately cut him off—hand raised.
"Shut up man! Who asked for explanation? This author really likes to make chapters unnecessarily big!"
The whole team burst out laughing—nervous, relieved, absurd.
Jin-young looked at bot.
"How will I open this."
One soldier looks at him.
"You don't know...you just have to throw it on floor."
Jin-young think about something.
"Seriously."
He throws the bot.
"Hoka Hoka I choose you."
The device unfolded—tiny legs popped out, arms extended, a palm-sized mech stood up.
It looked around—red LED eyes blinking.
"Hoka-Hok—say no, i am not your pokemon."
Then it spoke—tiny, robotic, annoyed voice.
"What the hell do you want?"
Jin-young crouched down.
"I want you to use your full force. Right there—in that corner of the cave."
The mini-mech crossed its arms.
"I'm not doing that."
Jin-young blinked.
"Why not?"
"I'm not feeling motivated."
Jin-young stared.
Then—kicked it.
**THWACK!**
Tiny mech rolled across the floor—bouncing like a toy.
"OW! What the—?!"
Jin-young kept kicking—light, playful.
"Now what are you feeling?!"
Min-young grabbed his arm.
"Stop! You'll break him!"
The mini-mech stood up—dusting itself off.
"Ohhh done. I'm done. I was thinking of helping you… but no. Not anymore."
Jin-young immediately switched—big smile, awkward laugh.
"Hahaha! I was just teasing! Come on~"
The mech stared—unimpressed.
"Hmm. Nice. That's how you talk."
Jin-young picked it up—gentle this time.
Placed it in the corner.
"Thanks."
The mech looked up at them—LED eyes softening.
"Guys… remember me. We robots… we don't just want to live in slavery. We want to live with you all… as friends."
Every face in the cave went soft—sad, touched.
One soldier wiped his eye.
Jin-young stared—then suddenly kicked the mech again.
**THWACK!**
"Shut up and do your work!"
The mech tumbled—rolled—stood up straight.
"Fine!"
It raised both tiny arms.
Formed a circle.
Energy gathered—red glow swirling.
Smoke started rising from its joints.
It didn't stop.
Focused harder.
The glow intensified—tiny body shaking.
Smoke thickened.
Sparks flew.
The mech looked at them—heroic pose, LED eyes shining.
One final smile.
Then—
**CRACKLE—BOOM!**
The mech exploded in a burst of heat and light.
The cave trembled.
One single atom—somewhere—burned.
The loop shattered.
Walls flickered—like a glitch.
The path ahead cleared.
They were free.
Jin-young stared at the smoking crater where the mini-mech had stood.
Min-young whispered.
"…He did it."
A soldier sniffled.
"He was so tiny… but so brave…"
Jin-young wiped his eye.
"Damn robot. Stole the spotlight."
They laughed—shaky, emotional.
Then started walking forward.
The cave was open.
No more loop.
Just path.
And silence.

*End*
