Chapter 53 - Blue-Glass 04

---

**Incheon Songdo-hae – The Residential Sector: Blue-Glass 04 (Cheong-Yuri). Years ago.**

The camera opened on a single window.

Sunrise bled across the Yellow Sea—crimson and gold bleeding into black water.

Inside a small, sterile apartment on the 7th floor, a young man stood half-naked.

Jin-young.

Lean abs glistening with sweat, minimal but sharp build, messy black hair.

He stared at the sunrise like it owed him something.

Behind him, a girl lay naked under thin sheets—smiling lazily, hair spread across the pillow.

She laughed softly.

"Now what's this?"

Jin-young stretched—arms high, muscles flexing.

"It's foreplay."

Both burst out laughing—loud, carefree.

**"HAHAHAHA!"**

He yanked the blanket away.

Jumped onto the bed.

His hands found her chest—gentle, hungry.

Lips crashed into hers—deep kiss, no breath, no space.

Fingers slid lower.

She moaned into his mouth—soft, real.

Then—

**DING-DONG.**

Room service bell.

Jin-young froze.

Pulled back—disappointed sigh.

He grabbed a t-shirt, yanked it on.

Opened the door.

A nervous room-service girl stood there—uniform crisp.

"Sir, we received your request—"

"I did that yesterday."

She bowed.

"Sorry, we were busy and Madam told us—"

He cut her off.

"Okay. Do your work and get out."

She entered quickly.

Jin-young stepped into the corridor.

Lit a cigarette.

Inhaled.

The girl—Seo Yea, his assigned assistant—stepped out behind him, now dressed.

She snatched the cigarette from his lips.

Threw it away.

"It's better not to smoke. It will affect your sperm quality."

Jin-young smirked.

"How much are you going to control?"

She stepped close—lips almost touching.

"Everything."

She kissed him.

Deep.

Real.

Not scheduled.

Not forced.

Just them.

That Service girl leave the room.

"Hello Madem, I've done the work."

Calm voice from other side.

"Hmm, leave that place immediately now."

Service girl nods.

"Yes."

---

**Night.**

Jin-young slept—peaceful.

Then—

**BOOM.**

Distant explosion.

He jolted awake.

Ran out barefoot.

Corridor lights flickered.

Another **BOOM**—closer.

He sprinted.

The entire sector was burning.

Bombs rained from above—bright flashes, deafening thunder.

Monsters—titan-like, massive, mindless—crashed through buildings.

One stomped a tower—glass exploded outward.

People screamed—tiny figures falling.

Innocent girls dragged out—torn apart.

Blood sprayed across blue-glass walls.

Jin-young ran—searching.

"Seo Yea!"

Her room—empty.

He burst outside.

Another bomb hit his own building.

**CRASH.**

The structure collapsed—slow, terrible.

Civilians still inside—screaming.

He froze.

Couldn't move.

Just heard the cries.

Girls' voices—fear, pain, begging.

He couldn't save them.

He ran again.

Found her.

Seo Yea—lying at the sector entrance.

Dead.

Eyes open.

Blood pooling.

Jin-young dropped to his knees.

Sat beside her.

Cried.

Then laughed—broken, hollow.

Useless.

He couldn't do anything.

"I promise I'll save even one person if i can."

The whole sector burned.

Collapsed.

As if it had never existed.

---

**Observation Tower – Seoul. Months later.**

Jin-young entered the room.

One boy. Eight girls.

All looked up.

He forced a smile—fake, cracked.

"Hello. I'm Park Jin-young."

He laughed—empty.

"Let's get to know each other."

Everyone smiled back.

They knew it was fake.

He knew they knew.

But they smiled anyway.

Because that was all they had left.
