Conrad spent the three hours going to different coffee shops and trying new desserts and signature drinks of the area. After he was satisfied in terms of discovering the simple things in a new area, he went to look at the Cradle Underground Mining.
He entered the mine without any problem; just a foreman told him that he should be careful and not get too close to the blue ice minion crystal, as it is still dangerous to touch this material without proper equipment.
Conrad nodded and thanked the man and then looked around.
There was heavy machinery around that he wondered how they were able to transport and how much it took them to do such a feat.
"A great place; they built here in the underground." Conrad thought, At the same time he was reading a paper, he took two papers before coming here; they were about what Blue Ice Minion is used for and how much revenue the city brings by this industry.
The Blue Ice Minion is used in electronics, heavy equipment, airships, and advanced cooling systems.
Conrad read the reports and then nodded.
"It is basically a much more high-powered magnet; instead of magnetic force, it generates a cold element naturally, much more when it is exposed to electricity."
"It is depleted after some time. One ton of Blue Ice Minion can be used for the matter of cooling in a relatively mid-size factory for about three months."
"One tannage is around twenty million jenny..."
Conrad nodded.
"A great deal of money can be made from this material."
"I understand why many people come here to work in the mines; with such a great deal of revenue, it is not hard for employers and the city to pay miners and relatively talented people great salaries."
After spending some more time in the mines, Conrad left the area and decided to end the day.
He wanted to rest and start focusing on how to venture into Deep Point and Heart Ice.
These two targets are more in line with what he wants to do for real.
In twenty-five minutes, he entered his room and took a hot shower to get the cold out from his system and then sat down wearing comfortable clothing.
He then took a paper and then started writing the basics of nen and its fundamentals, how one would access microplates in their body, and everything.
For a talented individual, this paper is more than enough to start learning about the nen; if one wants to learn about it, then they would learn it as long as their talent is enough.
"After I give this paper to Dali, it is up to her to learn." Conrad thought and then slept for the remaining time.
Five to six hours later, he woke up very well rested and changed into his winter clothing and went downstairs.
The NEN training paper was in his side bag; as he went down to the lobby to the restaurant, he saw Dali was eating her breakfast.
Conrad went to her side.
"Morning," he said.
Dali nodded.
"Oh, I did not think you would wake up at the same time as me, considering you arrived much later than me."
Conrad smiled.
"Are you following my entries to the hotel?"
Dali smirked.
"Not particularly."
"Our rooms are adjacent to each other; I heard you when you entered your room."
Conrad smiled and then put the paper on the white table.
"This is the training I told you about."
"If you want to learn about why you felt different when you encountered hunters, this is the secret."
"It is up to you to try it."
"If you believe you are not going to be able to do it, burn the paper and protect the secret."
"It would not be great if an ill-intentioned individual had this paper."
Dali stopped eating and took the paper and scanned it; due to her background as a professor and researcher, reading a paper and understanding its contents is something natural to her.
In just ten seconds, her eyes changed colors and her face turned serious.
"If what you tell about in this is true."
"The ordinary people are living inside of a big lie, and something big is just beside them, and they have not even discovered it."
Conrad smiled.
"You are not that wrong."
Dali kept on reading and then nodded.
She took the paper and placed it in her bag.
"I am not a fool..." she started looking deeply into the eyes of Conrad.
"I understand how dangerous and also how valuable this piece of paper you gave me."
"I also understand why you would want me to destroy this piece of paper in the case I decide not to learn..."
Conrad kept his silence and sat down and ordered a plate of breakfast for himself.
"If this is true and these are only the basics, I cannot imagine the advanced versions of it."
Conrad nodded.
"You have no idea, and there is no need to think about advanced sections of it."
"If you learn and are able to use this in three months from now on, then I will teach you advanced versions of it."
"Until then, I am not going to answer any questions on this matter; everything you need is in that paper for the time being."
Dali nodded.
"I understand."
"This is why the Hunter Association is too powerful and capable of influencing almost all the countries in the world."
Conrad smiled.
"World… as a geological expert, I wonder what kind of a reaction she would show if she were to know about the Dark Continent."
Conrad knew that she must have heard of it, but because it was deemed as fiction, it was not believed.
Don Freecs was the writer of that book and V5; also, older powers that governed the world made sure that nobody believed its contents.
As it was dangerous and not great for any people who were not cleared to venture into the Dark Continent.
"Now that I think of it."
"An individual like Dali would give great benefit to me and my group in the dark continent," Conrad thought while he ate.
