Conrad shook his head as he said his words.
In his mind, this man that he killed had a great ability and great potential.
But he was not cultivated correctly.
Using environments with a shovel and then emitting or conjuring nen beasts is a great idea.
"Now," Conrad thought, and then at the same time, the woman with the miniature cannon turned to her original form and, with her cannon in her hand, looked at him with great terror on her face.
It seems like she did not expect her friend to die this quickly.
It's been only about twenty seconds since this guy entered.
She also noticed that the number of quasi-members was not too large, and they were still getting attacked and chased by the two nen users.
Conrad looked at the woman and then smiled.
"What is it?"
"Are you going to do something or just look at me like that?" he added.
It is not that Conrad was a sadistic individual. He did not want to torture the woman or his enemy.
He was just trying to get into her head even more so that she would lose more of her composure.
Which would mean a great opening for himself and less danger to himself.
Also, to his teammates.
If she is losing her mind after one of her friends died in such a battle. It is her fault that she would lose her life next time.
"You..." the woman said, and she pointed her cannon at Conrad.
Conrad was about to say something, but then instead he kept his mouth shut and then vanished from his existing place.
"Let's see if she can block this too," he thought and then swung his blade.
Conrad, after choosing a target with his "Blade," there are three different actions that he could take to choose a different target or turn "Blade" back into "Cane" usage.
"1 – Kill the target, the ability resets, and he can choose another target."
"2 – Change the target after waiting for about twenty seconds and not touching the first target that was chosen by him with his 'blade.'
Basically, the target should not be harmed after the first twenty seconds of being chosen as a target."
"3 – Get blocked due to penalty of using "Blade" on not intended target."
These conditions are being added by Conrad the more he learns.
He understood that as long as he does not change the nature of the ability by adding more limitations, conditions are still effective.
But not as effective as when he first created an ability and decided on the conditions and limitations.
The woman who noticed the attack dodged to the left.
It seems like she came back to herself; she pointed her miniature cannon at Conrad and then blasted him away.
Conrad did not wait in the range of the blast; instead, he vanished again and went to the upside instead of left and right.
"You are not the only one that can blast." Conrad said
The woman felt a huge amount of killing intent behind her; then, she was the Orb.
"No!"
She thought and then made a finger move with her knuckles and placed her own finger into the cannon while she pulled the trigger again, blasting herself to the right side, while the Aura Blast Orb also blasted her previous place.
Which was not effective, as she dodged it to the right using the cannon to propel herself.
Conrad smirked and understood what happened as he watched.
"Her ability has one more use."
"Miniature Cannon mode is self-explanatory; after waiting for some cooldown, she can blast with a powerful aural attack using her cannon."
"Defensive Barrel Mode: when encountering a dangerous attack and fearing for her life, she can put herself inside of a barrel while her cannon turns into a barrel itself. This ability most likely has two or three conditions and a time limit, more than likely one use per week..."
"The third one, if she were to sacrifice her own finger while using the Miniature Cannon, she could bypass the ten-second condition..."
"Which means as long as she keeps sacrificing her fingers, she can blast nine times in succession."
Conrad could not help but get marveled at by his enemies.
"Two members of this Light Upon Us organization, and they both shocked me greatly."
While Conrad thought about these, he saw that Linsey and Avio finished up with their quasi-members.
He turned to them for a moment and said.
"Protect the lady while she prepares and focus on quasi-members."
"Keep the lady around you."
Linsey and Avio looked at each other for a moment and then nodded as they left where they came from.
Now that quasi-members were killed in the room and there is only one enemy, they do not need to help Conrad to take care of the woman member at all.
"Lady" here meant "Lina," as Conrad did not want to name her because he did not want Manor to know about there being one more extra team member in their place.
"Okay."
"We are at the thirty-second mark," Conrad said to the woman.
"Do you want to go quickly or fight?" Conrad said, "The woman," and then waited for a moment.
At the same time, he shook his head and vanished from the place and then started vanishing back and forth.
"What is this?" the woman said as she held her cannon; she was not even able to see the man at all.
"You are dead." She heard something, and then her head separated from her body as she noticed.
"Me," the woman thought as her head was still in the air.
As it is, the head was dropped; she saw the man again and then saw that he was swinging his blade again at his flying head.
"I..." she was only able to think it, and then for a moment longer, the man sliced the head again, and there was no mind anymore.
"Okay."
"Two members and a lot of quasi-members are down."
"I wonder how group A is doing..."
"The real battle is there," Conrad thought.
