Not long after, Linsey and Avio arrived.
Conrad looked at them and pointed out the window.
"After I enter and engage, the official members start killing the quasi-members."
"While I fight against the official members, I do not want anything to attack me from behind."
Linsey and Avio nodded and got ready.
Linsey's choice of weapon was some sort of a long rope, five meters in length; it was brownish in color, and Avio had brass knuckles that were a little bit bloody; it seemed like he had already used them on some of the quasi-members.
Conrad then took a deep breath and said.
"Follow me!"
He then jumped inside from the window and entered the room.
As soon as he entered, a blast of nen hit came right towards his face.
He quickly dodged it by moving to the right side, and his EN covered the many parts of the room.
The En was not affected if the nen user that uses it is inside of the manor.
The aura barrier only blocked prying eyes from the outside.
With his En, he found his targets quickly.
He can sense their aura and mannerism. Because he was able to sense their power, he was also able to understand who were official members and who were those quasi-members.
"A woman and man."
"One of them uses a miniature cannonball-like weapon, and the other one is using some sort of a shovel."
"Weird."
He then focused on the woman first, and then his cane manifested into a sword as he took the sword part from inside of it and then mentally commanded White Death to target the man and then sent an Aura Burst Orb to the man to catch him.
He did not need much time.
As he moved, the woman shouted.
"Kill him!"
The woman started moving faster and faster, going back and forth to find an angle to use her aura weapon on Conrad, while Linsey and Avio were already decimating the quasi-members.
Every five to seven seconds, another quasi-member was killed.
Under the coordinated attack of those two, they had no way to fight back at all.
That was the difference between a relatively strong Nen user and a Nen user that just has the basics.
Conrad, focused on the woman, then vanished from his existing place and appeared right beside her and slashed with his sword.
The woman gulped, and then in less than a second, her miniature cannon turned into some sort of a barrel and then covered her for a moment.
The blade hit the barrel and sent it back.
"Oh."
"So, when she is attacked and fears for her life, her weapon turns into a barrel of some sort and takes her in to defend."
"Such an ability must have some sort of a cooldown."
"In return for protecting herself using the 'barrel,' she must need some time and conditions to turn the barrel back into the miniature cannon that blasts a huge amount of aura and deals a pretty high amount of damage."
Conrad concluded, and then he inspected it for a moment and then also made a mental command.
"Hit it."
White Death shot a bolt at the man with the shovel that was trying to dodge the Aura Blast Orb. The bolt from White Death went straight and then hit the man in the feet.
"Fuck!"
The man said loudly and stuck his shovel to the wood ground and then from the shovel to the wood flooring, greenish-colored Nen manifested and sipped into it.
A second later, the wood flooring formed a dog-like form and then launched towards Conrad.
Conrad watched everything.
"What a new ability he possesses."
"I think that Shovel is a conjured weapon; it must have some sort of condition to be conjured too."
"When the shovel is stuck into solid ground and picks up some of the part where it is stuck, it can infuse it with aura and then form nen beasts and nen objects."
"There must be a lot of new conditions to be involved in this matter, but of course, this must be only possible for him to add more than two or three conditions."
"It is more than likely that there are other types of nen mastery involved in this matter of use."
Conrad was fascinated with this type of nen ability, but he still did not forget why he was here in the first place.
"Good."
He then closed his eyes and vanished from his existing place and again appeared at the side of the man and then slashed.
The man blocked it with his shovel and jumped back about four meters and then stuck his shovel to wood again and then took a piece from it, the green nan enhanced, the piece of wood filled with some sort of life, and then turned into several birds of wood and then started flying towards Conrad.
Conrad looked at the birds and then did not risk it.
He again vanished and then appeared right beside the man and then smiled.
"Dodge this," he said and then swung his blade to the side of the man.
The man was able to dodge it, but something was interesting to him.
Why would an enemy that's capable of teleporting and using a sword warn him to dodge?
It did not suit a man at this level, the enemy, at all.
The man was not foolish to not understand that, but due to the warning, his body moved without him wanting it to move, like a reflex, an automatic response to the danger.
As he jumped several meters to the left.
Conrad smiled.
A big blast manifested from the back side of the man, close to meters.
A cone that broke apart the four-meter radius blasted everything to smithereens.
The pieces of meat spread around after the blast.
Conrad looked at the pieces of the man and then smiled.
"Why would you listen to an enemy in the midst of the battle?"
"Also, forget about that small orb that followed you from the start of the battle, the orb that you sent the dog."
"Why send a dog to an orb that can fly and follow you?"
"A great ability but not great use of your intellect and also a lack of practice."
