With the group formed again in front of Window A, Conrad kept on surveying the area for finding more entrances and more information about the general layout of the manor and where the enemies are hiding and which rooms.
Adarte, with his metal bat, got ready and jumped inside from Window A.
"Fuck!"
Adarte directly saw that a green-colored nen bolt was to be hurled towards him; he dodged it to the right, and then a nen user, a weak one most likely a quasi-member, kicked him.
He blocked it with his metal bat and then jumped back.
Without having any breath time, another quasi-member attacked him with a punch this time.
"Not great..." he said as he was not able to block to hit and needed to take the full brunt of the attack.
He still managed to control his nen to block some of the attack as much as he could, but he still took damage.
"Thump!!"
While he expected more attacks, Reginald, Gotoh, Anisa, and Canary entered the room too.
In no time, they started wreaking havoc.
It was some sort of a hall, not that big but big enough.
"Many enemies are here."
Adarte thought as he regrouped with his friends, and then his eyes scanned every part of the room to find the nen user that sent the green nen bolt to him.
Compared to quasi-members and their simple attacks, that nen bolt posed a great threat.
He did not want to get hit by that at all.
One second, two seconds, and three seconds later, Adarte finally found a tall man in the corner of the room; he was flanked by five quasi-members at least.
He kept on focusing on the people who were fighting, and then he made a grasping motion with his hand, and then, in front of him, two baseball-sized green bolts manifested and shot towards Anisa.
"Be careful!" Adarte shouted out and then jumped on one of the quasi-members that tried to sneak attack on Reginald and crushed him down, while Anisa noticed the green energy bolt and dodged but still got hit slightly on the side.
She looked at the wound in her left arm and then nodded.
"A corrosive effect is on that green bolt."
"If it hits, it starts to melt the enemy like an acid..." She thought and then said the same thing to others.
In ten seconds, more than seven quasi-members were killed.
The tall man looked grim as he understood that things are not going well.
He said with a whisper.
"Member 7 to Member 6 and Member 5, I need support here. There are five nen users in the room clearing out all the quasi members."
His whisper was loud in the ears of the other Light Upon Us members.
In five seconds, a young woman with a small black sickle showed herself and a short man with two shields showed himself.
One of the shields had a skull; the other one had a smiling face.
Adarte and Anisa grouped and nodded.
"Most likely, both of them are Conjurers; I do not think those shields are simple objects," said Anisa.
Adarte nodded.
"Yeah, you are right."
"I am not sure about the woman."
"Have any picks?" he added with a smile.
Anisa said.
"I take the woman; I don't like shield users," she said.
Adarte nodded and then turned to Reginald.
"Try to kill that Green Bolt sending nen user; it would be pretty bad if any one of us got hit by that."
Reginald nodded.
"I will be taking care of him." He then looked at Gotoh and Canary.
Gotoh nodded.
"Go."
"We will take those quasi-members as in our contract."
With the settlement, everybody focused on their target.
Meanwhile, Conrad, on the outside, noticed another big window on the north side of the manor.
"This must be a mirrored room of that same room I broke, and my orb was to be destroyed."
"Which means there must be a member of some sort."
"If they were intelligent and informed enough, they would be sending all their members to the side of the Window A battle scene to clear that group."
"But they don't know if there are more enemies waiting on the outside."
"Which means their understanding of the general perimeter of the manor is not that great."
"Well, I think it is more than likely that they have sensing abilities or even technological equipment to understand what is happening inside of the manor."
Conrad concluded and then sent the White Death Orb this time, breaking the glass.
This time, the orb was not attacked.
"Ten enemies, two of them member-level and all others quasi-members."
Conrad thought.
He was still not able to penetrate inside of the manor with Obelisk, but it was not a problem.
They saw the Orb and just hid from it, believing it was some sort of an intelligence-gathering nen ability or some sort of a ranged attacker.
Which are both true.
"Great..."
"I do not think that there are more enemies that are hidden from me," he said.
He then looked at the message for a moment and nodded.
"Okay."
It was from Adarte.
"Three members and about fifteen quasi-members were in Window A."
"Two members, about ten quasi-members, are here."
"Which means two enforcers and one more official member remain that are not discovered."
Conrad thought and then shook his head.
He sent a message to "Linsey and Avio" and sent them coordinates too.
"Meet me here. Take care of the quasi-members while I engage with official members."
After that he quickly withdrew the orb from the room and then sent another message to "Lina."
"Come to my side, and keep an eye out for the area, and start planting your seeds here, and then go to Window A to plant your seeds to empower our people."
With these, Conrad took a deep breath, swung his cane, and waited for Linsey and Avio to come to his side to attack from Window B and kill the two members.
