Hannah Hale pulled her coat tighter and hurried toward her car.
Zelda Miller, who had just come out of the villa, quickened her pace to catch up. "Hey, Zachary Redgrave! We made a deal. Don't you dare back out."
Zachary Redgrave stopped in his tracks. "Don't worry. I'm a man of my word."
"Alright then. I'm heading out. Bye!"
Hannah Hale watched Zelda Miller's retreating figure, then glanced at Zachary Redgrave. "What kind of deal did you make with her?"
"We're each other's shield. It'll save me from my grandma, who has nothing better to do all day than set me up on blind dates."
Hannah Hale shook her head with a silent laugh. "Not bad. You two reached an agreement that quickly."
"Enough about me. Are you hungry? Let's go grab a bite to eat."
"No, thanks. I want to go home. I'll see you later."
