Zachary Redgrave spat out the words through gritted teeth, just before the line went dead.
"You son of a bitch! How dare you hang up on me."
Zachary Redgrave immediately redialed. After a few rings, the call was finally picked up.
"Fiona Keating, you shameless Siren! Why didn't the car accident just kill you? It really proves that old saying: a scourge lives a thousand years."
"What is it?"
The voice on the other end was Nathan Redgrave's, cold as ice. Just moments before, Fiona Keating had seen the door to her hospital room pushed open and, quick as a flash, hung up the phone.
"Grandma wanted me to call and tell you to come home for dinner. But I see there's no point in you coming back now. Just stay at the hospital and keep that Siren company. Besides, you and Hannah Hale are just going to get divorced sooner or later anyway. Bye."
Furious, Zachary Redgrave hung up. He couldn't stand to hear his uncle's voice for another second.
