Although he had steeled himself, Timothy Sterling was still horrified when he saw Joy Dalton's body.
The woman's eyes were wide, her lips slightly parted. There were clear marks around her mouth, evidence of it being forcefully covered. The most horrifying part was Joy Dalton's neck. The cut was deep, laying flesh and blood vessels bare. The long gash looked as if it might sever her head completely.
Timothy Sterling couldn't bear to look anymore. He stumbled to a corner, his stomach churning, and a moment later, he threw up.
Sharon Sterling's reaction was hardly any better. After a single glance, the whites of her eyes showed and she passed out completely.
The officer escorting Timothy Sterling's group looked on, troubled. 'One is vomiting and the other fainted, but someone still needs to identify the body.'
