Damien Valerius had expected such a response from Aurora Sterling, so he didn't press the matter further. He wanted to know more about her. All he had to do was arrange for a thorough investigation, and even if it didn't uncover everything, it would get close enough. But he much preferred for her to tell him herself.
For the afternoon exam, Aurora Sterling had just arrived at the testing hall when she saw Sharon Sterling standing in a corner, her eyes red.
When Sharon saw Aurora looking at her, she immediately averted her gaze and lowered her head, avoiding eye contact.
Aurora had thought that after the morning's scare and her failure on the exam, Sharon wouldn't show up in the afternoon. To her surprise, she was here. 'Now, I have to give Sharon some credit; at least she has some inner strength.'
When it was time to enter the testing hall, the students began to go through the security check at the entrance one by one.
