Chapter 166 - The Spouses' Reaction to the Absurd Rumor

Upon arriving inside the dormitory building area, Arvin began walking down the hallways with slow and calm steps. His ears sharpened, trying to catch every conversation from the groups of students relaxing in the recreation room or in front of their rooms.

However, after wandering around for a while, he did not hear a single person talking about the proposal rumor anymore. The dormitory atmosphere seemed ordinary, only filled with chats about academy lessons and the laughter of all the students. A feeling of disappointment slowly struck inside him.

Damn it! Arvin cursed in his heart, feeling his efforts were a bit in vain. Why isn't anyone talking about my rumor? Should I just try to terrorize them tomorrow when returning to study at the academy so they can speak honestly to me?

Arvin sighed softly. He felt a bit disappointed because his arrival at the academy dormitory this afternoon did not yield the results he had hoped for.

Feeling there was no use lingering there any longer, he immediately left the place, starting to look for a safe, quiet spot out of anyone's sight to try using the teleportation magic he had just learned.

It seems I should just head straight to the backyard. They must be training in the mansion's backyard. Arvin guessed in his heart.

He continued his steps walking out of the dormitory area, re-entering the quiet main academy building area, and went straight up the flight of stairs leading to the roof of the building.

Arriving at the academy roof under the clear sky, Arvin stood straight and closed his eyes. He began to regulate his breathing and visualized the layout of his mansion's backyard very specifically.

Once the image and its coordinates had formed clearly in his head, he immediately concentrated his mana flow and activated his teleportation magic.

Instantly, a magic circle emitting a golden glow appeared and spun slowly beneath his shoes.

Zap!

Arvin's presence was no longer on the academy roof. The space around him seemed to fold, then transported the blue-haired youth across a great distance until he shifted right in the middle of his mansion's backyard.

When his eyes opened, the first thing he saw was his four spouses who immediately stopped their training activities.

The four youths looked at Arvin with surprised expressions. Besides his sudden appearance using teleportation magic, the surprise also occurred because their husband returned home so much faster than they had expected.

"Is your business there finished?" Allen asked, walking closer to make sure.

"Yes, it's finished!" Arvin answered quickly, his facial expression still looking a bit sour. "But, do the four of you know the rumor about me at the academy?"

"Rumor?" Ordion repeated with a furrowed brow, feeling curious. "What rumor do you mean exactly?"

"A ridiculous rumor that someone's hidden power will awaken suddenly if I propose to them!" Arvin answered, a bit annoyed by that rumor. "Many of them in the academy want me to propose to them just for the sake of gaining power. They all have truly lost their minds! I feel like pressing them to confess who the mastermind is that spread that crazy rumor!"

Hearing their husband's answer and complaint, Allen, Alrain, and Ordion looked at each other for a moment. Then, unable to hold it back anymore, the three of them immediately laughed out loud in the middle of the yard. They truly never expected that an absurd rumor about their husband had circulated at the academy.

"Hahaha." Alrain laughed crisply and understood where the root of that misunderstanding came from. "That rumor must have spread because you suddenly proposed to Ordion in the classroom that time. At that moment he suddenly remembered his previous life, then accidentally used his fire magic until it exploded as if his hidden power had just awakened, making them misunderstand when they saw the incident."

Arvin could only stay silent, dumbfounded seeing his three spouses who continued to laugh in amusement after hearing all those ridiculous rumors. However, the explanation Alrain gave made quite a lot of sense to him.

"My Dear, you don't need to think about it too heavily." Ordion said while trying to stop the rest of his laughter, then gently patted his husband's arm. "Just let that funny rumor circulate widely and become a new legend in the academy."

Arvin let out a long sigh, as if wanting to throw all his annoyed feelings about the ridiculous rumor regarding himself into the air. He decided to comply and not think about it anymore.

His gaze then shifted to look at the clothes worn by Alvein, and he instantly remembered his promise to make a lot of decent clothes for his fourth spouse.

"You all keep training!" Arvin ordered gently, changing the topic of conversation. "I want to go buy a lot of fabrics first in the capital. Since I have already made them for Allen, I will make a lot of new clothes for Alrain, Ordion, Alvein, and also Yonna."

"Okay!" they answered in unison with smiles.

"Return quickly once you are done and be careful on your journey." Allen added thoughtfully.

"Yes, I will go now."

Arvin turned his body around and resumed his steps. He left his four spouses in the backyard and walked out of the mansion area toward the bustling city.

After Arvin left, the relaxed atmosphere in the backyard instantly faded. They refocused to continue the training.

"Focus, everyone!" Alrain exclaimed, getting back into a firm and disciplined teacher mode. "Have you understood my theoretical explanation earlier about how to use a little mana but with great destructive power and strength?"

"Of course!" Allen, Ordion, and Alvein answered in unison, impatient to try.

"Good!" Alrain said firmly, looking at his students with an assessing gaze. "In that case, let's practice directly everything I just taught you. Use the attack magic you master the most towards the target!"

With full spirit, Allen, Ordion, and Alvein began to concentrate their energy. The three of them prepared to meticulously do what Alrain instructed, honing their magic abilities to become more lethal and efficient.

Meanwhile, a few moments later in another corner of the capital, Arvin was walking with relaxed yet steady steps. The blue-haired youth walked along the streets toward the vast market area filled with and owned by commoners, preparing to look for and buy all the materials he needed there.
