Weeks Have passed.
The orb around the property hummed gently each night, keeping demons out.
The house stood like a temporary sanctuary—quiet, safe, and alive with people who had almost forgotten what safety felt like.
But one night…
The silver spider perked up on Kenna's shoulder.
Its eyes glowed bright silver.
It hissed sharply.
Kenna froze.
"…Dad? Cyrus? Guys?"
Cyrus stood up from sharpening his axe.
"What is it?"
The baby spider spun a small silver thread pointing toward the forest.
Danger.
Something powerful.
Something angry.
Something coming fast.
Blood Reaper stepped out of the house, her aura flickering.
"Something's approaching," she said quietly.
The others gathered behind her.
Then—
CRASH—!!
Constant BURST out of the forest at full speed, leaping over fallen logs, wings flared, panting hard.
"MOVE—!!!"
A massive blast of light slammed into his back and sent him tumbling across the ground, rolling into a tree so hard it cracked in half.
Kenna screamed.
Big Jim spit out his beer.
Billy ducked behind Joseph.
Matthew swore loudly.
Constant groaned.
"Ow…"
Blood Reaper didn't move.
She just stepped past the orb and walked outside calmly.
Two figures emerged from the smoke.
Laughing.
Hungry.
Predatory.
Dyren, fire dripping from his palms.
And Icca, lava chains swirling around her arms, her violet hair glowing.
They strolled toward Constant like it was a sport.
Dyren smirked.
"You call that running?"
Icca giggled, eyes gleaming.
"Aww, look at him~ He needs a nap."
Constant snarled, wings flaring.
"COME ON THEN!"
He pulled out both swords—
FWOOOSH—!!
They ignited with red and blue fire.
Constant launched himself at them.
He slashed—
Dyren blocked.
Icca spun her chain.
Constant ducked.
Dyren threw fire.
Constant kicked him.
Icca punched Constant in the ribs.
It was a perfect chaotic triangle of murder.
Then—
Dyren accidentally backhanded Icca across the face.
WHACK.
Everything stopped.
Icca turned slowly.
Eyes wide.
Jaw cracked sideways.
"…You. Hit. ME?"
Dyren blinked.
"I—I didn't mean—"
BOOOOOOM—!!!
Icca exploded into molten rage.
She tackled Dyren, punching him repeatedly, screaming nonsense.
The siblings rolled across the dirt like two rabid wolf-pups.
Constant stood watching, swords lowered, smiling.
"Honestly? This is the best thing I've seen all week."
He spread his wings.
"Bye."
He shot upward—
SHRRRRK—!!
Icca's lava chain snapped around his wings mid-air.
"OH NO YOU DON'T!"
She yanked him straight out of the sky.
Constant slammed into the dirt face-first.
"OW—AGAIN?!"
He tried to get up—
Icca stomped on his back.
"You're cute," she said.
He groaned into the dirt.
"Someone help me…"
Cyrus burst out of the orb with a roar.
He flew so fast the ground cracked under the force.
He slammed his foot into Icca's stomach—
BOOOOM—!!!
She shot back into a boulder so hard it shattered.
Dust exploded.
Icca looked up at him, dazed.
And then her eyes widened.
Slowly.
Dreamily.
"Oh…
my…
GOD…"
She sat up, heart-shaped pupils glowing.
"He's BEAUTIFUL. Why didn't anyone TELL ME Cyrus was this HOT!?!"
Cyrus landed between Constant and her, wings flaring.
"No."
Icca crawled toward him, hair glowing like volcanic glass.
"Cyrus… my perfect angel… take me—"
"No."
She crawled closer.
"Look at your arms… your wings… your VOICE—"
Cyrus pointed at her.
"NO."
Icca whimpered.
"Don't reject me— I'll DIE—"
Cyrus sighed in pure exhaustion.
"You'll be fine."
She immediately melted into a puddle of dramatic lava tears.
Dyren stood, furious, lighting swirling around him.
"I'M NOT DONE—!"
He hurled a massive fireball—
Straight at Constant's back.
Constant braced—
But Benjamin swooped in front of him, spreading his wings.
Benjamin caught the fireball with both hands, gritted his teeth—
And THREW IT BACK at Dyren twice as hard.
The explosion sent Dyren flying, slamming into a tree so hard the entire trunk cracked.
Dyren groaned.
"…ouch…"
Benjamin smirked.
"Stay down."
Constant stood up, shaking ash off.
"Hey! Thanks!"
Benjamin shrugged.
"We're brothers now, right?"
Constant blinked.
"…since when?"
Cyrus rolled his eyes.
Blood Reaper stepped forward, fire swirling in her palms.
Her voice dropped into a deadly calm.
"All of you.
Stop."
Dyren froze mid-knee rise.
Icca froze mid-flirt-crawl.
Constant dropped his swords.
Benjamin stood still.
Cyrus stiffened.
Blood Reaper glared at them.
"We have bigger problems than your sibling drama, your flirting, or your constant screaming."
They all nodded in terrified unison.
Blood Reaper stepped over them and looked into the dark forest.
Something massive moved in the distance.
Something old.
Something not from Hell.
She whispered:
"They're five minutes away."
Constant couldn't stop staring at Blood Reaper.
Not blinking.
Not breathing right.
Just watching her with that intense blue-eyed focus that made everyone uncomfortable.
Icca and Dyren exchanged wicked grins.
"Oh he's in DEEP," Icca whispered.
Dyren smirked.
"He's gonna get punched."
Then the siblings vanished into thin air, leaving chaos behind.
Blood Reaper turned away, aura simmering like a dark sun.
She lifted her hand.
"All of you. Stay inside the orb," she commanded.
"The darkness won't cross the barrier."
Her eyes glowed.
"This land is quiet. Something is coming."
Everyone nodded and obeyed.
Everyone except—
Constant.
He walked after her as if pulled by a magnet.
She felt him before she heard him.
He bumped into her shoulder — not gently, but intentionally, like he wanted a reaction.
She stopped.
Slowly turned her head.
Her eyes flashed dangerously.
He grinned.
Then walked past her toward the house like nothing happened, hands in his pockets.
Blood Reaper frowned.
She knew exactly what he was doing.
She moved around the property, checking the orb's anchor points, scanning the dark trees.
But she felt him again.
Quiet footsteps behind her.
She turned—
Constant pulled her by the wrist, yanking her close—
Face to face.
Breath touching.
Eyes inches apart.
"You are making a mistake," she said coldly.
Constant didn't flinch.
"With you? Never."
Her brow furrowed.
"You're easily compelled by love powers. Your feelings aren't real."
Constant stiffened.
Because she was right.
He'd been under spells.
Under confusion.
Under manipulation by so many beings.
What if this was another trick?
His jaw clenched.
"Maybe I AM messed up," he admitted softly.
"But I'm learning.
This is new to me.
But I know one thing—"
He stepped closer.
Her eyes widened.
"—you're the last and only person I want."
She froze.
He gently leaned in.
First, he kissed her cheek.
Warm.
Soft.
Real.
Then he kissed her forehead.
A blessing.
A promise.
Blood Reaper's heart—
which had never been touched, never been claimed, never been soft—
burned in her chest like a new sun.
Her eyes widened in shock.
She didn't know what to do.
Didn't know what this meant.
Didn't know how to breathe.
From the rooftop—
"OOOOOOOOOOO! KISSY KISS!!"
Keuirseu shouted with the enthusiasm of a 5-year-old.
Constant's entire face dropped into a glare so deadly it could vaporize stone.
Blood Reaper snapped out of her shock instantly.
Spun.
VANISHED on the spot in a flash of black flame.
She teleported so far away no one could sense her aura.
