The first Spring Festival of Misty Peaks began long before the sun fully climbed above the surrounding mountains. By dawn, the entire settlement was already awake.
Cool spring mist drifted between the peaks, slowly thinning beneath the golden sunlight, while countless flowers decorated the roads, wooden platforms, doorways, and gathering grounds. Fresh green leaves and flowering vines had been woven around posts, strings of polished seeds hung from the branches of trees, and several large flower arches welcomed guests into the central gathering area. Even the roads had been swept clean and decorated with petals.
The distant sound of waterfalls echoed softly through the valley, mixing with laughter and excited conversation as Aurora's disciples rushed from one end of Misty Peaks to the other, checking preparations for what had become the first and the largest celebration the settlement had ever hosted.
The first guests began arriving shortly after sunrise.
