The following morning, the western side of the Wolf Tribe was once again filled with lively voices just as the sun started climbing above the mountains.
After allowing the clay walls an entire day to dry properly, everyone had gathered once more to finish the construction of the last remaining part of the longhouse - the roof.
The bundles of broad leaves, bamboo poles, long branches, vines, and thick dry grass that had been collected days earlier were already stacked neatly beside the unfinished structure, waiting to be used.
Aurora arrived together with Asher, Elixir, Kellen and Reis, carrying ropes she had created using the bark she collected few days ago. The moment she stepped into the clearing, dozens of tribe members greeted her with bright smiles.
"Good morning, Lady Chief!"
"Are we finally finishing the house today?"
