Aurora was still busy making plans in her head when Reis suddenly stopped walking. The abrupt halt made her nearly collide into his back before she caught herself in time.
Her sharp gaze immediately lifted ahead, and she realized they had already reached the guest caves prepared for the Fox Tribe.
Compared to the normal caves of the Tiger Tribe, these looked much cleaner and more organized because of all the preparation work done the previous day. Fresh flowers rested inside clay vases near the entrances, smooth sitting stones had been arranged outside, and the area surrounding the caves had been swept clean with the bamboo brooms. A few fox beastmen rested outside the biggest cave, likely standing guard while the others recovered from their journey.
