Mosquito Girl knelt on the ground, her long eyelashes trembling as fear filled her eyes.
What was happening?
What exactly had this human done to her?
Her mind raced with confusion and terror.
Could it be that he was not a hero at all?
Lucien calmly closed the light screen in front of him. He decided he would roll the dice again later after returning home.
A normal lottery no longer excited him.
Only VIP draws were enough to stimulate his adrenaline.
Holding a cigarette between his fingers, Lucien looked down at Mosquito Girl. His amethyst colored eyes observed her calmly.
With some luck, she should count as a minor villain.
After all, in the original storyline she survived for more than five minutes.
Later she even evolved further, forcing Genos to prepare a self destruction attack.
Unfortunately for her, she had eventually been killed by a single slap from Saitama.
"Let... let me go. I belong to the House of Evolution."
Facing those strange amethyst eyes, Mosquito Girl's voice trembled as she revealed her background.
"The House of Evolution?"
Lucien slowly exhaled a ring of smoke.
Only then did the memory return to him.
Mosquito Girl was an artificial monster created by combining mosquito genes with a human woman. She was nothing more than an experiment from the House of Evolution.
House of Evolution
The organization was founded by the scientist *Dr. Genus*, a man obsessed with advancing human evolution through biological experiments.
Dr. Genus
Mosquito Girl possessed the ability to grow stronger by absorbing blood. She could also control vast swarms of mosquitoes.
Dr. Genus himself was an extremely capable scientist.
In terms of reputation, he stood at the top level of the scientific community in the One Punch Man world.
Another scientist of similar standing was *Dr. Kuseno*, the man responsible for modifying Genos into a cyborg.
Dr. Kuseno
The difference was that Genus specialized in biological evolution, while Kuseno focused on mechanical modification.
Two different scientific fields, both extremely dangerous.
"Can you cook braised pork ribs?"
Lucien raised his hand casually.
He had originally intended to kill her immediately. However, the thought crossed his mind at the last second, and he asked the question instead.
Mosquito Girl stared at the raised palm with terror in her eyes.
She knew the name of the House of Evolution meant nothing to this man.
"Yes... yes I can. I can cook braised pork ribs, and many other dishes too."
Her survival instinct exploded.
She quickly listed dish after dish, many of which Lucien had never even heard of before.
Lucien thought for a moment.
"Then you still have some value."
He lowered his hand.
For now, she would live.
During his time in the pirate world, Lucien had grown used to having people serve him. Cooking for himself was something he refused to do.
He needed someone to manage daily life.
Mosquito Girl was only a minor villain at best. Perhaps she was not even that important.
He could deal with her later.
After all, Lucien had very high standards when it came to his quality of life.
He extended his finger and pressed it against Mosquito Girl's forehead.
A strange dark blood began to flow into her body.
She started twitching violently.
Several minutes later the trembling finally stopped.
Her body became still.
Mosquito Girl had successfully transformed into a demon.
"You had better pray that your cooking suits my taste. Otherwise I will personally send you to meet the Buddha."
Lucien spoke casually.
With a thought, the Demon Mask Harley automatically drove to his side.
Lucien mounted the motorcycle while slowly exhaling smoke.
"Yes... yes."
Mosquito Girl responded respectfully.
Her body still trembled slightly.
At least she was still alive.
Before becoming Mosquito Girl, she had been an ordinary woman. She could manage a household, cook, endure loneliness, and work hard.
Today those skills had saved her life.
"Follow."
The Demon Mask Harley left behind a trail of colorful flames as it sped toward the outskirts of the city.
Mosquito Girl spread her wings.
Her injuries had already completely healed.
She flew into the air and followed closely behind Lucien.
More than ten minutes later, Lucien reached the outer districts of Z City.
Compared to the abandoned zones, this area actually looked like a city.
Many people lived here.
Shops lined both sides of the streets.
It was a completely different world from the ruins where Saitama lived.
Suddenly a scream rang out.
"Ah! A monster!"
The crowd quickly noticed Mosquito Girl flying behind Lucien.
Although she was incredibly beautiful and seductive, her inhuman features made it obvious she was a monster.
Most citizens feared monsters deeply.
The ones screaming were mostly women.
The men were initially frightened as well, but their expressions slowly changed.
Several of them swallowed nervously while staring.
This monster was unbelievably sexy.
"Do not panic."
A man wearing a cross shaped mask and a red cape jumped forward dramatically.
"I am Crosskey, a C Class hero ranked number twenty five."
Crosskey
In this world, monsters were everywhere.
Fortunately, so were heroes.
Lucien ignored the man completely and walked toward the nearest supermarket. The Demon Mask Harley quietly vanished from the street.
Mosquito Girl followed behind him while looking at the surrounding humans with cold disdain.
"You cannot escape after encountering me."
Crosskey snorted and rushed toward Mosquito Girl.
"Suicide."
Lucien glanced back and spoke a single word.
For cannon fodder like this, that was enough.
As Lucien and Mosquito Girl entered the supermarket, Crosskey suddenly froze.
His right hand grabbed his own skull.
His left hand grabbed his chin.
His eyes filled with terror.
Then he twisted.
Crack.
The sound of breaking bones echoed loudly.
The crowd froze for a moment before erupting into terrified screams as people fled in every direction.
Inside the supermarket, Lucien walked calmly to the food section.
He purchased a large quantity of meat and vegetables.
After that he moved to the electronics section and selected a computer.
Speaking of computers, he still had an old laptop stored in his mysterious golden finger space.
The store clerk trembled nervously while completing the transaction.
The clerk even promised that technicians would arrive later to connect the internet cable.
At first they refused after hearing the address was in the abandoned district.
However, once they noticed Mosquito Girl standing nearby while carrying multiple heavy bags, they quickly changed their minds.
This supermarket was surprisingly large.
It sold almost everything.
After finishing the shopping, Lucien and Mosquito Girl walked outside again.
However, the situation had changed.
At least a dozen heroes were standing outside in defensive positions.
The death of Crosskey had clearly alerted nearby heroes.
Unfortunately for them, every single one of them was a C Class hero.
Complete cannon fodder.
"Release the hostage!"
Every hero believed Mosquito Girl had captured Lucien.
That conclusion made perfect sense to them.
After all, that was the usual scenario in situations like this.
"Jump into the sea."
Lucien grabbed Mosquito Girl with one hand and suddenly soared into the sky.
His speed was terrifying.
In the blink of an eye, he vanished into the distance.
Behind him, the group of heroes suddenly trembled.
Without hesitation, every single one of them began running toward the ocean.
One after another, they jumped directly into the sea.
Ten seconds later Lucien descended from the sky near Saitama's home.
Mosquito Girl nearly collapsed after landing.
The speed had been overwhelming.
Her stomach twisted violently and she almost vomited.
What she did not know was that Lucien had intentionally slowed down to the lowest possible speed.
"Huh? Who is this? A monster?"
The door opened.
Saitama stood there wearing loose shorts.
Saitama
He looked at Lucien first.
Then he looked at Mosquito Girl carrying the bags.
His expression remained completely dull and uninterested.
"The chef and maid I hired."
Lucien entered the house casually while answering.
"Oh."
Saitama simply picked his nose and sat cross legged on the tatami floor.
He continued watching the news on television as if nothing unusual had happened.
He showed no fear or hostility toward Mosquito Girl.
In Saitama's mind, only those who destroyed cities or killed innocent people were true monsters.
"Go start cooking. If lunch does not satisfy me, you know what will happen."
Lucien sat beside Saitama and glanced toward Mosquito Girl.
"Yes."
Mosquito Girl quickly hurried into the small kitchen.
Her sharp claws gradually retracted and turned back into normal human hands.
Her wings and monster features slowly disappeared as well.
She returned to her original human form.
Although still beautiful, she looked far less seductive than her combat form.
"Did you buy a computer?"
Saitama grabbed an apple from the table without looking away from the television.
"Yes. The staff will come this afternoon to install the internet cable."
Lucien lit another cigarette and rested his chin on his hand while sitting at the low dining table.
"That monster maid you found seems pretty strong."
Saitama suddenly glanced toward the kitchen.
The sound of chopping vegetables echoed rhythmically.
"I found her on the way here. If her cooking disappoints me, I will kill her."
Lucien blew out a heart shaped smoke ring.
"Oh. You are cruel."
Saitama turned his head and looked at him with mild disgust.
"If it were you, you would have slapped her to death already. I am at least giving her a chance to change."
Lucien yawned lazily.
"You do not seem bothered by her."
"Did you not say you are giving her a chance to reform? If she starts killing innocent people again, just slap her to death."
"That is exactly what I was thinking."
In the kitchen, Mosquito Girl's face turned pale.
These two were devils.
Absolute devils.
